Codex Protocol is a decentralized title registry for the $2 Trillion A&C asset class. The protocol will be integrated by its consortium and third party developers are encouraged to build their apps in a way that supports Codex as well. Biddable and Codex Viewer are the protocols' native apps developed by Codex Labs INC. Biddable lets you register and pay for A&C with cryptocurrency with over 5000 auction houses around the world. Codex Viewer will allow users to view and interact with the Codex.
Interacting with the protocol requires Codex Coin for actions such as modifying and transferring Codex Records. These fees will be absorbed by Codex Protocol and a percentage of this will go to a community fund to boost adoption. There are a number of incentive levers: Users who maintain a stake of CodexCoin will receive discounts on protocol fees to ensure affordability for applications and engagement with governance. Rewards (for example: validators verifying record provenance), penalties (staking to deter bad behaviour) and governance (open community that governs a decentralized system, in the beginning this will be at the discretion of the consortium and Codex Labs, INC.)
