Hi everyone. I'm glad to see everyone in Codex. Guys who are planning to contribute their artwork to Codex?

Hi, I was just discussing this today in the project chat. They said that it is possible to bring absolutely any legitimate goods that fall into this category.

Yes, I know. You just fill in the application form and bring your goods into a single database. I would like to put my pictures there - someone who likes me.

Great idea, but I want to put my craft wines there. I wonder how people will appreciate it.

Oh, I think people will like it. They love this much more pictures))) Well, that Codex gives such an opportunity to people.

The team should attract too much people from every area.
Is this possible?
I dont say you can't do that, but it is very complicated, isn't it?
How do you deal with this?

I have a question. Are there any video conferences with the participation of the team of this project?

Of course, there are plenty of videos. Probably you should start by viewing Codex's YouTube channel
https://bit.ly/2K4NYo7

And if you haven't seen the segment Vice News posted a few weeks ago about Codex's Art Auction at the Ethereal Summit (where a CryptoKitty was sold for $140,000)... It's pretty awesome. 4:34.. Check it out here:

Good afternoon.
What about transparency of the ledger?
What can say about the reliability of your blockchain?

The Codex Protocol is built on the Ethereum network. In terms of transparency, collectibles will be registered on the blockchain as an ERC271 token which is a non-fungible token. These tokens emulate rare and collectible items. Collectors will have full control over their items, meaning they will give permission to auction houses or galleries to put their items for sale as an example. As a buyer, you will be able to view the history of the item that you're interested in. Hope this answers your question Smiley

nice day)
Tell us more about used technologies in the project please.

Good question Smiley

So the Codex Protocol is built on top of the Ethereum network. There are no plans for building a special blockchain for Codex at the moment. Ethereum is the most popular platform even though there are scalability challenges. Codex is not worried about scalability right now as the transactions are low volume but have a high value.

There are 4 smart contracts:

1: CodexCoin which is an ERC-20 utility token
2: Codex Registry, which is the ERC-721 smart contract (Non-Fungible Token Standard)
3: The staking contract, where token holders can stake tokens to receive a discount on token fees
4: The proxy contracts, from which the core contracts are accessed through

These contracts were implemented already on the Rinkeby testnet.

Does "not worried about scalability" mean that you are not sure that the platform will be very popular? Also I want to understand, do we really need 4 types of smart contracts?

Scalability is a problem for the blockchain technology in a general. It's like when the internet was at 56kb/sec years ago. For now, Ethereum is a sufficient option and once the Codex developers feel the need for an upgrade then they will transition the network.

These smart contracts are needed so users/entities can interact with each other on the Codex platform.

Oh, that's interesting. I'm more suited to projects in terms of material benefits. And what do you collect?
