According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Makes you wonder how much that kitty will be worth a decade from now, if it's already worth $140k  Shocked

Very good to know about it, what was your plans for listing the coin in the exchange, whether you are in talks or already you have listed in exchange because we don't get any update from you about listing?

There's plans on listing the coin for sure, but the team can't comment on which exchanges right now due to legal reasons. It'll be revealed in due time  Wink

This recently published article features Cofounder and CEO of Codex Protocol, Mark Lurie's comments on the future of ICO and crypto.

Quote
“There will be a shakeout in ICOs and a flight to quality. There will be a proliferation of ICOs where a few will go bust. There will be a lot more institutional capital that will all go to the highest quality projects. That’s what happened during the financial crisis with venture capital and growth equity rounds, too. Most companies could not raise any funds, but those that could raise funds did it at really high valuations.”

Found this article on Codex and it is really nice to see how the status quo for buying A&C is like and how can Codex help to facilitate the transaction making it easier Smiley https://medium.com/codexprotocol/how-codex-makes-art-collectibles-easier-160e538e65c0

Just love Codex because team have decided to airdrop CODX tokens instead of a community sale. Looks like they carrying more about product/community instead of money raised!  Kiss

The team wants tokens to be distributed widely which is why they are doing an airdrop to the community and why the team is going to reward validators.

Thanks for the support.

Yes the team cares very much about the community which is why they opted for an airdrop instead. Because to them, community engagement and user adoption, especially in the form of token distribution, is their first priority Smiley More of the details can also be found in this link right here, https://medium.com/codexprotocol/codexcoin-sale-update-airdrop-3af53c6a5e9b

Agreed! They care more about adoption of the protocol than extra money from the token sale. A strong community will take Codex to the moon!

This is rare to see such appreciation for any project before even its launch. These awards from those big companies are telling where possible direction of the project. The more I read about Codex the more I feel myself interested in this to keep digging in. No doubt hard work always leads to fruitful ending which is real start for projects.

That's right XCNP. I especially think that the Europas award is going to be good for the project. Codex is receiving wide recognition the last few months and as we know, they are also backed by an industry consortium to the likes of Liveauctioneers, Auctionmobility etc..

Also, the team will be attending many events soon such as the Arts Club in New York on the 14th of September. Try to see if they will be attending an event close to your home Smiley

Codex Protocol is thrilled to announce the latest partnership with BANKEX.

Through Codex's end to end solution, you can digitize and tokenize your assets for increased value and liquidity.

"Bringing capital from public markets to individuals has generally required a prohibitive amount of work and extensive infrastructure for securitization, which in turn, has produced sub-optimal liquidity. Now, unique assets represented by Codex Records will be easy to securitize through the BANKEX platform."
