Update 1) "As per the tokenomics of the token, Flamingo will decrease the minting rate of FLM, which will decrease inflation of the token."

This will drop the FLM Monthly Inflation Rate from 2.55% to 2.34% (to 335,714.28 FLM minted per day.)


Update 2) The FLM-Lend-Bot in Discord is live.

Now you can check loans for different wallets and set a ltv warning.

FUSD optimization

The demand for the new FUSD stable coin is still higher than the supply, which leads to a depeg. Currently you get 1.20 USDT for 1 FUSD. The team wants to change that of course.

They are planning to split the FUSD pool rewards into two: normal rewards and borrower’s rewards. This should increase the minting of FUSD and lead to a 1:1 peg again.

When? The contract audits start on Wednesday and the team plans to release the new FUSD pools/rewards on early February.

PS: Of course they could fix it in a minute by allowing USDT as collateral, but they are building the the world’s first truly decentralized stablecoin.

So, what´s up next for flamingo?
The team is not sleeping and developing/improving/working on the best defi on Neo (and maybe whole crypto) each day.
On https://flamingo.finance/roadmap you can check their roadmap for this year.

There are still a lot of huge things coming, for example the improved orderbook+ and TAO. I am most excited for the TAO (Token Auction Offering - not Tao Pai Pai or cute panda Tao Tao   ),
because of the great idea to be able to list your own token on the platform, if there is enough demand from the community for it.

Let´s say you have a coin called "FrankCoin" and you want to list it on flamingo. Now you can put it on auction, for example 100.000 coins (from 1 million max supply) and users can bid on it.
1 User might bid 50$ for 10.000 coins
1 User 100$ for 10.000 coins
1 User 200$ for 10.000 coins
etc.

In the end you´ll have an average price of the token and a reverse pool will be created. This way a price pump and dump will be prevented.
