Ways to ignore child board

Right now, we can only ignore only a board totally. For example, I can ignore the alternate cryptocurrencies. But I am looking for ignoring child boards. For example, I want to ignore the child boards of local. Is there a way to do it? If not, what about adding the option into the forum. I think it will be a good feature to have.
