Don't get why the Mint client has such a hard time connecting. If Mint is going to go anywhere the devs really need to fix this issue. I've never known a client to be so slow to connect depsite having so many active nodes. Fix it please.

for some unknown resons our faucet wallet reseted itself....as you can see funds are still there http://mintcoin-explorer.info/address/MhwgXZFp4CNzR5U5f3iibPKGhmKVMkTgwt

now faucet is using another address... strange thing to happen

http://coinok.pw/faucet/mint/

anyway i will send 50,000 Mintcoins from my own funds to cover this loss... however i hope it's not a programming issue

What does that mean? The original funds are lost?

The coin halved, so people have moved on to the next early opportunity. I expect after the next halving and subsequent price increase we'll see a lot more hash come back to the network. We're sort of in a transition period between the launch and the first halving. It may take another halving for the market to catch up.

I see a lot of nodes, started client for 5 mins and I got 14 connections. Maybe try to add some of my peers:

Net hashrate dropped to 1,5GH/s... Where are you miners ?! ;-)

There are still so many fresh mints coins to mine!

hashstrike down and they have a lot of mh/s

My wallet isn't syncing, and I created the mintcoin.conf as per the OP... what else can I try? Thanks

Got 1 connection, then it dropped again Sad Still hasn't begun syncing

RPC problem; getbalance is broken.

On a mintcoind fresh from git checkout, with synced blockchain:

Code:
someone@somebox:~$ mintcoind listaccounts
{
    "" : 0.00000000,
    "gamebank" : 999999.00000000
}
someone@somebox:~$ mintcoind getbalance gamebank
-9216810327147.70507812
someone@somebox:~$ mintcoind getbalance test
-9216811327146.70507812

This is incorrect. getbalance gamebank should return 999999.0, and getbalance test should return 0.

http://mint.hashrapid.com

On of the biggest Mint digging pools.

- New separated stratum servers for ultimate performance
- Dev ops on call
- *New Block bonus for any block finder(on top of your normal payout)

What's going on with shares right now, the pplns and shares seem to be way way way behind the current blocks and getting even further behind.
