It shouldn't have to be so complicated to get the wallet to sync. What on earth is wrong with it? I never have this issue with other wallets. I hope the developers fix this with a wallet update. This is going to suck when it comes time for the PoS minting to start.

with a lower pool hashrate you should market to people with smaller rigs they will get better rewards than being in the big pools with high hash rate.

deinstall and reinstall your wallet, you did something wrong! just read trough the many pages of posts how to make it work and use google how to make your wallet work.
try to use the new release of the wallet.
most have no problem with the wallet so it must be a problem on your and of those that dosnt work pc.

Check also your firewall that is set properly to allow the wallet to connect to the network!!

   Finally got Mac Wallet syncing  

When I say syncing, I mean 2 active connections yo!

Here's how I did it for anyone who still needs to get it working.

1) Download mintcoin-qt.zip from the OP.
2) Go to downloads and extract, you should then see a nice green icon 'mintcoin-qt' - drag this to your applications folder.
3) Open mintcoin from application folder (if it doesn't sync/connect go to step 4)
4) Open the finder, at the top bar of mac You'll see The apple logo, Finder, File, Edit, View, Go etc.  - Click 'Go' so that the menu drops down, then hold down the ALT key and you will see 'Library' appears in that list, click it.
5) Go to Application Support > MintCoin & Paste in the Mintcoin.Conf file.
The .Conf file should contain:

ok. this should help. hopefully you will have done a backup. i deleted my mintcoin file in appdata/roaming. deleted the mint wallet. downloaded and reinstalled the mint wallet.run wallet then shut it. open app/roaming again and open the mintcoin folder. create a new .conf file with

This is how I got mine to sync.  I am not 100% current and mining in a pool.  I will send some mint your way once I actually own some   Right after I got it working, the new Windows wallet was released.  I agree with other posts, it shoudl be a little easier to use like most all other wallets.

New wallet and tried all these nodes still not syncing WTF is going on here im soo frustrated.

I personally haven't had any syncing problems to date, only have the 7 nodes in my conf from launch time.
