You don't need 50btc of buy pressure if holders and whales start to believe the coin has a future. Less sell pressure is the same as more buy pressure.
Combine these two and we have a winner

Actually I disagree. I think plenty of people would dump just the same. At the very least, I think a lot of people are dumping their POS rewards and this will naturally increase as they gain more mint via multipools. You have to remember that even among the fanboys in this thread, a lot of them are not really so confident in this coin as they claim, and will use any opportunity to lock in some profits (however small they might be.)

How can you know what (I) (we) think  Huh

Hypothetically, if a whale had 1200 BTC and 1 Billion Mintcoins, what could he do, in your opinion, to help increase Mintcoin prices and keep them there and still be able to profit?

Don't get me wrong guys, I'm not saying the multipool is going to hurt MINT. But at the same time, it is not the future of MINT. It is a temporary measure at best.

Dont agree with that ... if you're going to immediately dump the mined mintcoins, why mine at the mintcoin pool in the first place.

Just mine at wafflepool or middlecoin, and get paid in BTC, that's one less transaction and fees ...

The community should own this pool and have the fees go to a foundation or something to start to build more infrastructure and fund more projects.

only stupid mining mintmultipool for sell your mints...ex. ecosystem: mining xcoin ---> change for BTC (here lose % commissions) ---> multipool buy mint (here lose % commissions) and pay miner ---> "miner buy BTC or sell your mints?Huh?"(its simple, NO!!!! mining for hold!!!)

Agreed.

Holding everything off of the market we can is our best tactic for creating upward momentum.

Bounty for a new mintcoin multipool

http://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/comments/20vtiy/bounty_for_a_new_multipool/

I have been in contact with one of the established multipools and they are willing to get a mintcoin multipool up if we show enough interest!!

Here is what they replied:
"Its an interesting idea.  I saw some doing it with blackcoin recently.   I'd be willing to give it a shot, if you believe you can gather interest in your community and perhaps a bounty could be had.  I've got a lot on my plate atm, but am willing to dedicate some time if it makes sense"

Can we raise some funds for a bounty here?
Send some coins to this address
MqafpHSxDnDMcHg3c4BFf2xpBmCDe64H2Q

I don't have that much mints myself but i donate 100000

helps get https://hashco.ws/, COME ON

I'm very impressed that you've managed to get mintcoin accepted on so many merchants. Please keep doing what your doing, I've been involved in this coin since its immediate launch when it was 3 satoshi and I do believe.
