The drama.

And the speed. Cheesy
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The coin is doing okay, it has tons of merchants, a great name and people are working hard on it, if only all this shit talk stops it will start slowly to rise.
So please use your brains, dont read and believe everything random guys are writing !

what is the biggest merchant accepting mintcoin in your opinion?

who is working on the development of the coin (except for paspi and david of course)?

any information at all on any upcoming projects?

that's the main point for me. been trying hard to find sth but there is literally no information nor development. dev is busy doing other things.

Those are orphaned blocks and no there is nothing you can do about it. I may be wrong, and I'll eat a bug, but it may have something to do with the block explorer for Mintcoin has not been working for a time now.

Hello, whoever is the owner/developer of the Mintcoin Block Explore could it be brought back online please.

It is things just like this that have gotten many people in this community wondering real hard about the dedication of the development of Mintcoin. If the block explorer is owned and managed by a member of the community, I think it's about time the actual developer take control of it, or supply one that is controlled by him, and not someone that may have left the community like the tipbot.

Someone please get this back up and running soon....

Damn it, I can't find the owner!
If it doesn't come back at the end of the day, I will be contacting someone else to have a new one.

Shaopia suggested on Mintcoin-reddit we should try again to get on http://www.btc38.com/. I also think it would be a good idea to give it a try!

Expedia uses Bitcoin now. I was wondering if they would be willing to accept Mintcoin.

I'm working on something awesome for mintcoin! ..but I've contacted the mintcoin team first and hopefully they'll give a positive reply to make it happen since it won't be free. Am really excited about this.  Grin

If you know it, please don't mention it atm.
