Hello
I have a client running in testnet mode:

/work/bitcoin-0.3.24/bin/64/bitcoind -datadir=/work/bitcoin-data-test getinfo
{
    "version" : 32400,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 36721,
    "connections" : 8,
    "proxy" : "",
    "generate" : true,
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "difficulty" : 170.24496174,
    "hashespersec" : 1747408,
    "testnet" : true,
    "keypoololdest" : 1316618175,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "errors" : ""
}

I am trying to send myself bitcoins from the "faucet" site -- https://testnet.freebitcoins.appspot.com/ -- however I am not sure what address to use as the destination.

I tried this:
/work/bitcoin-0.3.24/bin/64/bitcoind -datadir=/work/bitcoin-data-test getaccountaddress ""
but I am not sure that it is right.  When I do getbalance it still reads zero.

This is on a headless server so I can't use the bitcoin GUI.

Try getnewaddress.
Try "bitcoind help" and "bitcoind help {command}" for more commands.

Can a change to the best-chain criteria protect against 51% to 90+% attacks without a hard fork?
