I think that in the last time airdrops are becoming more popular than bounty. New interesting projects are choosing airdrops and not bounty. A good airdrop is difficult but it is possible.

I have joined 2 airdrops and I realy like the concept.

I prefer it over ICO, because there are no multimilion dollar investments from investors based on a whatepaper and no working product deliverd at all.
With airdrops, the coins are distributed freely and most risk is on founder side. Without delivery of a working decent product they will gain nothing while they invested time.

But nobody looses huge sums of money is this case. Not the founders and not the airdrop participants.

You will not be able to demand more. Because it's a token that's completely free, and you only need 2-3 minutes to get it. So if you're lucky, the tokens will be high value. But 90% of the tokens will not be worth or die. it's true. Try to search with Bounty

I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

Since airdrop programs are free I will advise you not to quit in such manner. I will tell you my experience. Late last year, I was filling all kinds of airdrop and per day I could feel 50 airdrops then but I just got some small bucks on it. When I realize its not paying well, I decided to take break and during my break I missed two big airdrops namely Ontology and Hydro. Therefore don't just quit airdrop, there are pay days ahead.

Whenever i check my wallet to see some of the airdrop tokens i received and looking at their ridiculous prices, never cease to amaze me. I dare not transfer any of them to exchange for sale, else, the prices will not even cover for the cost of transfer, let alone exchange fee.

I fully agree with you that you should not engage in Airdrop. for all the time that I participated in Airdrop, I got either to scammers or the reward was so small that it was not worth the effort I spent.

it is totally your decision whether to join airdrop or not. yes i understand that in most of the airdrops we do not get any thing special but there may be 1 or 2 project where you will get good return. Also it do not consume out time may be in less than 1 minute to join airdrop. so do not loose hope , it is the game of patience.

I also participated in a few airdrops and I only get 2$.In airdrops you only need to do is to register then wait for the tokens in your wallet it is an easy work unlike in bounty campaign you need an effort to do it and in the end you can get a good reward.

OP, do not relent, there are still some very good ones that will earn you huge reward. I could remember the likes of ENU, which now has its mainnet. The developers of some airdrop projects are very serious.

Yes, a lot of the airdrop activities is just a mere waste of time  energy and resources, I don't even know why some people feel that airdrop is free, it is never free, lost of them is given for exchange of your personal information plus you will still have to promote the project for a penny shiitcoin that may never be listed. It is so pathetic, I feel the same way too

I also think like you. I've been involved in a lot of airdrop programs. But the rewards I receive are few. The majority are ico scam

It is true, I was like that until a few days ago, then I realize that airdrops need a lot of time, most of them are delivered after the ICO stage of the projects which can take several months to be completed.

I see such also or outright scam, however do not write them off completely, there may be some good ones coming especially that wont conduct an ICO to raise funds

Just hold the tokens you have now. Never throw the private key away. You have to understand that even though the price of some of these coins are terribly low, you never, ever know if one might moon for some reason. Sure chances might seem slim. But I know a guy who had ten dollars worth of coins, and since he didn't care much about the ten dollars, he checked years later and it was was worth like $2,000. Imagine had he invested $1,000 though.

I think I'm staying away from airdrops too, or at least for some time, it seems like they give too little of a reward and they take way to long to complete the whole process which makes me desperate some times.

This time I was not so prefer to follow the airdrops. This is because many programs already do not produce airdrops. The program is mostly airdrops result very little. And this made me finally saturated, better focus my work on the other.
