If you have to choose one out these 3 which will you choose for mining :

1. msi Armour 570 8gb

2. Sapphire pulse 570 4gb

3. Sapphire Nitro+ 580 4gb

Both 570 are priced same but 580 costs $50 extra.

I think i will choose Armour 570 because it is 8gb which might be useful for mining certain algos like Cryptonight but then I think it is inferior to Sapphire in quality or hashrate.

Edit : Also DAG is not a problem because eth will go POS before it crosses 4gb and I think there are better coins then ETH.

I will choose the 8GB version of Rx 570. The reason for that is simple, the hashrate of 8 GB card , standard compared to a 4 GB card is higher. If it also happens to have a good memory like Samsung then it can go up to 31 Mhsh mining ethereum or any other coin based on this algorithm.

The second not so relevant reason is because it can mine ethereum based coins for a longer time span. Also when a bios mod is done on both version of the cards, 8GB gets more hashrate in Monero algorithm too. So my choice would be the 8 GB card.

None. ETH is going to go PoS and after that there will be no profitalbe coin to mine

Forget about it. It's just and advice.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

Depends on which algorithm you would like to mine. If you would like to go for coin like ETH (or ETH itself), than definitely go with 8Gb one. Simply because DAG size increase from time to time, and that is one more reason why you would want card with as much ram as possible. For now 3Gb is enough, but for how long will it stay like that. At the end I see that you (OP), swogerino and I share the same opinion.

I get 32 MH/s on Ethereum with Nitro+ RX580 4GB. That would be my choice.

You may get the 30 to 32MH for mining ethhash mate.
Only comparison you can get the more hashes with the Samsung ram chip enabled to cards mate. I see people making easy work with these card even their overclocking also has been done well with these cards.

Sapphire Nitro+ 580 for short-mid term because you can get 32Mh/s with lower temperature
MSI Armor 570 8G for long-term with dagger hashimoto algorithm or cryptonight heavy. Hotter but still work with larger DAG

Go with the 570 8 gb version. All the 4gb will soon start to loose its value rapidly and the loss will be bigger than the current advantage of having a slightly more powerful GPU unit on board 580 4gb. Also 570 is a bit more power efficent, so in fact you mine less but also spend less on power.

I prefer msi armor 570 8gb to mine because it has a good hashrate to mine a coin with Cryptonight algo like XMR or mine another coin like Decred.

I'm going to agree with most of what's already been said and say to go for the 8GB Armor card. The entire Armor line isn't anything special (IIRC the cooling on the cards is pretty crappy), the DAG won't reach 4GB until quite some time like you said, and the Sapphire Pulse is the better card, but the extra 4GB of memory is definitely worth it in the end if both 570s are priced the same. There's basically no reason to go for the 580, especially if it's $50 more expensive, as whatever minor gains you will get while mining don't justify the increased price.

What price are the 570 cards going for? I'm wondering if you're getting a decent deal on the cards, as profitability's continually dropping and the price you pay for cards affects your break even time greatly.

MSI Armor = crap. Period. Cooling is shit, quality is shit. Avoid.

Also, you will not "mine another coin like Decred" because they are now ASIC territory and yield absolutely nothing on GPU anymore.

The last day you'd be able to mine ETH with a 4GB ram card is expected to be the 23rd of Feb 2021. ETH might or might not move to PoS before that.

Note that you'll still be able to mine everything else.

Now up to you to decide.

In US the going price should be around $300 which I saw in newegg's newsletter but here in India I am getting them for $360. GPUs were always expensive here due to low demand for gaming and high taxes. I can get access to free electricity too, so I am also thinking about making a full fledged farm but due to current uncertainty in mining (upcoming nextgen GPUs, ASICs & FPGA) I am on wait and watch mode. I will still buy a dozen of these 570s for a rig I will build this week.

I was thinking about 8gb because of Cryptonight. But as you said Armor is low quality is what I was worried about.
But I am thinking how bad could it be ?

IMO, low end cards are not worth the marginal savings for a mining rig under 24/7 operation. Compared to better quality cards, cheap cards skimp on cooling and generally come with lower quality binned components and memory. Since the passive cooling is not as good, you have to run the fans at a higher speed to keep the cards cool, which means more noise and the fans wear out faster. Resale value is also better on higher end cards.

What I also like about the Sapphire Pulse and Nitro+ cards is they come with their modular X-Fans. Removing the fan is as simple as removing a single screw, which makes maintenance and cleaning easy. Replacements are also available for $12.50 each shipped directly from Sapphire.

For me the 8gb still be more profitable if you are planning to mine ethereum but if you are mining with other coins or not dagger-hashimoto algo then both all of them have same performance so you can choose all of them.

How you sure that ethereum will be going to POS?

<...>

I'll go for RX580 4GB, reason:
4GB cheaper -> faster ROI
4GB still able to mine ETH and ETH-Like coins for a long time
RX580 better CryptoNight hashrate, memory size doesn't matter
