We don't push coins, but let the community decide to fix coins. We do however support people that want to take over responsibility of specific coins and need technical help. Then possibly later on, it can be elected by the community. The first step toward a future of the coin is dedicated people, so I recommend you to start a new topic that copies the first post of the original topic. Does your coin need technical assistance?

We definitely have to start a new topic with updated informations. And someone should check the technical stuff.
I'm no programmer and don't have much time. So is there someone else who can do this?
And if we get enough votes, we can win a friendly takeover ;-)

I know this coin for a long time.
It's a good innovative, but it turns a mining coin at last.
I think you are right that reward Storycoin for stories.

The STY exchange list has been updated.

Absence.

Pivoting towards a media entity with the cryptostories website was a bad move. I realized maintaining the site would take up a considerable amount of time (which I don't have), so I took a step back.

Revival.

However, the main purpose of this coin was to reward art and story telling, and as such I am reviving the story blocks program that will allow people to earn STY without mining.

Simply post a story, some art, or anything creative into this thread along with your STY address, and if 3 people quote your work with "STY Verify" you will have mined a block of 200 STY.

Let's get back to what this coin was really about - giving everyone a chance to be involved.

Stories Client Update.

This Stories release patches the OpenSSL Heartbleed bug and adds a few cosmetic changes to the client.

You can download the update HERE.

The download includes an up-to-date config file to make it easy for those moving to the new release.

Call to action.

I won't be able to attend to story block payouts, so I will be passing 500,000 STY on to trusted members of this community to see that every verified story block is paid out.
If anyone would like to volunteer just let me know.

Please also consider another offensive on mintpal votes, STY belongs on the mintpal exchange and I think as a community we can make that happen.

It's good to see, that the dev returned.

I suggest to start a new thread to mark the beginning of a new chapter.
This may also bring more attention to the coin.
A thread which is started 3 months ago and only has 24 pages won't generate much interest.
