But world corporates showing the bitcoin is place easily get hacked in the market mate. Actual truth no one can hack the bitcoin wallet if you have done the safety measures to your wallet with the private key and 2FA to make your wallet secured mate.

May be many news you came across on the hacking but no one sharing their tx id hacked wallet so far apart from individual URL hacking.

Cash robberies are definitely an issue, and a cashless alternative would definitely mean that less of these actual physical robberies will take place. Bitcoin could be a solution to that, as you can even just memorise your wallet recovery phrase (not recommended) and not have any physical devices when you travel around to carry your BTC.

however, this is not the only thing that bitcoin offers that can benefit many people, and 'save lives'.

The fact that bitcoin is a global currency and a decentralised store of value means that people that are living in countries such as Venezuela can now save up, and transact with something that is actually recognised as a form of payment internationally. There are no barriers for entry either. Compared to fiat currencies in hyperinflation mode, this is nifinitely better and can help a lot of unbanked, underbanked people and merchants.

This is where the different strategies come in. You do not have to store your coins in online wallets. There are many cold storage alternatives for permanent long-term storage, like Paper wallets and Hardware wallets.

Everyone is walking around with a small percentage of their total Bank account in their pockets <in cash> and the same thing will happen with Bitcoin users. You only deposit a small percentage of your total bitcoins into a online wallet, linked to your phone for daily use and the rest will be stored in cold storage in another secret location.

Yes, criminals might target home users, but these people can hide their paper wallets and cold storage in other secure places. They can even leave fake paper wallets for events like this. <Giving a robber a paper wallet that only contains 1% of their whole hoard> How will the robber know how much bitcoins you have?

Criminals will definitely find a way around getting to your coins.
Yes, that's correct.
Even digital money there is a risk of your life not only physical money because as what have said the statement above of my post criminals will definitely find a way around and seeing which better a good to rob. Well, physical money is a high chance of getting rob compared to digital money but it doesn't mean that in that way people adopt bitcoin, there's another alternative way not to hold your paper money. Debit card and ATM maybe one of their option.

One of the quintessential elements of bitcoin is that its digitalized nature eliminates the need for a peer-to-peer transaction among users. Although this may be confused with credit transactions, bitcoin offers anonymity unlike other alternatives. Adapting into a digitalized form of payment may have its perks but criminals would exhaust all the means in order to scam money online.

Although having a digitalized form of currency may be beneficial, it does not completely eliminate the possibilities of crime as hacking is rampant currently. It is still better and suggested that you do not invest or transfer your money completely in order to lessen the risks of it happening.

You touched on a very valid point here. The Pseudo-anonymity of Bitcoin is also helping people from the threat of inside jobs in these centralized financial systems. Something that regularly happens now, is Bank officials working for criminal syndicates. You have an official working in a Bank and once someone enters the Bank to withdraw a lot of cash, they notify the syndicate waiting outside.

The criminals syndicate also have "inside" information on the Bank balances of the clients of that Bank. So they just kidnap someone in that family, because they know how much money that person have in his or her Bank account.

Bitcoin is saving more lives by just being pseudo anonymous.  Wink

A friend of mine in South Africa phoned me yesterday and informed me that another person died yesterday in a cash-in-transit heist. These robberies have increase significantly in the last couple of months. See link below :

https://businesstech.co.za/news/banking/246259/there-have-been-135-cash-in-transit-incidents-already-in-2018/

This got me thinking, Why do security guards and cops and sometimes even civilians have to die for other people's cash?

The current Fiat system increase the probability that people have to die, because cash have to be moved from one location to the next and merchants need to have cash on site for their business.

How many clerks working at merchant locations have to die for their owners cash? <7Eleven / Corner shop / Malls>

Bitcoin can reduce this today!

The adoption of Bitcoin remove the need for cash on location, so the robbers have no need to hurt or kill people to get to the cash. The bitcoins received can be deposited directly into a Bitcoin address at a safe location or at a third party payment processor and transferred electronically to your Bank, if you want to convert to fiat.

The employee or clerk working at your shop cannot steal your money or be in danger, because he or she does not have physical access to the money/bitcoins and this money does not need to be transported, so the security guards are not needed.

Let's increase Bitcoin adoption today, and save lives!
But still, the fiat moneys inside the banks need to be transported. I think the safest way to reduce the probability for such incidents is to fully adopt bitcoin. Which also means fiat money itself will be eliminated in the economy. To that end, I say condolence to those who suffered from the robbers.

Bitcoin has now grown since many merchants accept it as payment. But this does not mean we have to eliminate the fiat and use bitcoin and good realization. And bitcoin is not made to replace the fiat. This is primarily digital money and the ultimate goal is to ship to different parts of the world

I really doubt that a real adoption can happen anytime soon, that is the main reason of why i think that a lot of things can happen ,but it will not happen soon

It will take time bro, when we compare the crypto currencies growth when some other invention this was much rapid grown technology it does't even complete a decade until now.In few more years more people will get adopted to the crypto curreny usage and in daily life for that we need to use them as a curreny not as an asset.Bitcoin have so many advantages than fiat and as well as some flaws too so it is our choice to which one to take.

I agree with your idea that increasing bitcoin adoption today might save lives.  I also appreciate your thought on how bitcoin might reduce crimes related to stealing cash.   But I think, it cannot end this kind of crime as a whole.  This is because we are living in a world where bad people always find ways to victim other people.  They innovate their ways as well just to steal other's money but the good thing about your idea is nobody will risk their lives just to protect their/other's money from bad people.

Wow, this post really shook me. We always talk about how impractical and old fashioned fiat currency is, but it is just words. It is truly terrifying to see people get in danger for just pieces of paper, when it could all be easily solved by digital currency. There are really no disadvantages, at least for well developed countries to implement crypto.

With digital money on our wallet, peoples can avoid from robberies. Its can not avoid from hackers but at least it can avoid peoples killing others just for paper money. I am believe adoption on digital money can improve our quality life and can help our economy

I think there where increase the rate of cybercrimes because everyone is accessing on the internet and do a job there. Bitcoin can save life in a way that working and earning it gives unusual salary that you have to work long time in the industry but here only days counts for that. Everyone can used digital money and could not bring cash for their safe travel without worrying about the theifs.

People would still get robbed for their Bitcoins, People would just be threatened to either give up their private keys or to send money to the criminals.
Traders who did in-person trades via Localbitcoins have already been robbed.

Criminals will definitely find a way around getting to your coins.

This can happen but those robbers are much more exposed when stealing crypto than fiat. Every transaction that are done virtually will still leave a small track that can lead to them and getting arrested. It is address to address so the cybercrime division just need to examine those.

"A tyrant will do anything they can to pursue their tyranny." — Aesop

That said, even if you made one solution, another problem will rise or still remain. There is such a thing called cyber crime, and these criminals prey on naïve users on the internet like scamming them in various ways. You'd be surprised how some people still fall for it.

Well, atleast nobody gets killed, but still.

The only thing we can do is to prevent it from happening. Crime and evil will never go away.

Well this has happened before with people being forced to withdraw btc at gunpoint, some even were kidnapped. Eitherway,  it would be easier for robbers to get money from fiat that crypto as the effort and risk would be more than double.

This is what i like the most using bitcoins, the advantages, benefits and security we can get from it. Though in my country bitcoin is not that popular yet and we can only use bitcoin by doing transactions in money remittance and bills but hopefully in a long run there are also establishment that will accept bitcoin as payments.
