I wonder how much it would cost to publish something like this in the New York Times like Steve Jobs did years ago....
Full page color advertisement will cost around $107,075. Or you can go for a facing 1/2 page color advertisement. Costs $137,370. To put it on their online and mobile app seems much more reasonable: http://nytmediakit.com/uploads/rates/12-2333_2013_Tech_RateC_IH3.pdf

So we need to have 10k donating $10? Seems feasible!! OK, thinking about seriously working on this to start a crowd funding project! Shouldn't be too hard to raise attention(and also get new people involved).

BTW, I can't see many valid reason to spent that bunch of money for just one printed page. Probably if we think enought about it, we could either: - to obtain about same results for free; - to spend all that money for something more "epic".

Fixed in my side-by-side version. Different font also shows "evolution".

First thing that came to my head when I heard the news, is this ad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rwsuXHA7RA . Think Diffrent! Satoshi is one of the crazy ones. What happened to that apple? Without Steve the company is different. I would like to thank Apple for narrowing my upgrade choice to two phones.

I've bought multiple of pretty much every Apple product. I've bought (sometimes multiple) every iPhone ever to come out. I've written apps, 3 to be exact.
I'm done. I'm out. I'm going Android.

Might I suggest the Nexus Phone series. I switched to android a few years back - started with the Galaxy S2 - then 3 then 4 and now am using the Nexus 5 and I can never see myself straying from any vanilla android phone.

The nexus is probably the best phone for developers, so yeah +1 to that idea. You could always put cyanogenmod on an S4 if you prefer the look of the handset etc but still want that vanilla feel + features.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm gonna go check them out tomorrow! I was thinking of all the Apple products I've gotten in the past few years. 2 Mac Pros, 2 iMacs, 2 Macbook Pros, 3 MacBooks, a few Airport express, Airport extreme, Time Machine, 3 iPod touch, iPod, iPod Nano, one of each iPads, and every iPhone that has ever come out, as well as 2 more iPhone 3s, and 2 iPhone 5s. That's a little too much. I need to rethink my life. Thank you Bitcoin for saving me from the iMonster!

Actually, they say that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Google "Apple bitcoin" There are pages upon pages of hits. This just shows how far spread the acceptantce of bitcoin is and how big the bitcoin community has become.

It look like some angry teenagers are butt hurt... Coming from the person who's already made 10 similar posts in the various "Apple bans bitcoin" threads. What are you afraid of?

LoL
I cannot stop to laugh at the delusional and misleading text the OP did in an attempt to copy the Apple's old advertisement.
Facts:
- No "cryptocurrency" revolution happened 5 years ago. - Bitcoin do not put the "power of currency" back to people. - Accepting Paypal or credit cards is not a skill. - Satoshi Nakamoto's paper do not address any estimation... - ...of 21 million people willing to buy 1 BTC to benefit speculators. - Next year the Bitcoin user base will not increase exponentially... - ...and that did not happened in the last years. - The Bitcoin "community" could care less about competition... - ...otherwise there would not be "altcoins". - The only capital being enhanced is the capital of the speculators and early adopters.

I am not afraid of anything, but completely amused by a fanatical Bitcoin mob which thinks that Apple is conspiring against their imaginary revolution.
