hi guys, i had written a few days ago, for some question about day trading. a lot of people told me not do it for a lot of reasons. so i decided to start with normal trading, i had studied for many months TA. now i would like to understand how to put into practice it. for exampe i want make some TA for trx, usually i start with the find of support/resistors, then i find trendlines with moving averages but then i don't know how to continue.. i know all of the theoretical part but not the practical part.. i have no idea when enter or how find the figures. why this??

before anything else, I usually check if it's oversold or overbought then TA everything else. you can try trading via simulation like https://coins2learn.com/, it will help you to gain experience trading without investing. you can use other exchanges chart for TA or trading view. "traders best experience is not how many years they are trading but how many times day trade"- I heard it from someone

You might probably get better replies if you posted this question on the Trading Discussion[1] subforum. I suggest posting there instead.

Before you do something stupid find and read one book. You said you have some background but still...

John J Murphy - Technical Analysis Of The Financial Markets.

Remember, Google knows a lot.

After you have read it, come back here if you have more questions, but I guess 99% of all the questions you'll find in that book. Recommend it to everyone willing to trade /not only crypto/.

Extra tip, find CryptoCred on Twitter.

John J Murphy - Technical Analysis Of The Financial Markets is a go to book for starting TA. observation on prices, volume & then moving forward applying oscillators might help to a beginner. also recently i came across nik patels an altcoin trader's handbook which i havent read yet but the reviews were quite good. reading these few books, observing price patterns and then applying best judegement may help in honing the trading skills.keeping check on emotions also helps. Also if you dont have any bitcoin try a test net version of bitmex to start with. good luck.

Along with all the resources above, check out some youtube channels as well--it might be helpful to see some visual representations. A couple channels to check out: Philakone and TheChartGuys.

Hope this helps

If you want to practice without getting any real money involve than I would suggest you downloading a portfolio management app like Blockfolio. It is one of those ways where you can practice buying and selling cryptocurrencies without really messing up your capital. Although the gains/losses are not real you will still apply what you have learned. Now if your portfolio is looking good then trading for real might be the next big step for you.

With what you've written above, you're still on the learning process.

Go to babypips.com to learn all the required tools and how to apply them.

This channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnqZ2hx679DqRi6khRUNw2g is great for TA beginners and experts. You can use investopedia too to learn patterns and what not, however you will only need a few patterns/indicators to start trading, the more you use the worse it is.

To add to this, there's also a trading simulator that let's you perform many of the traditional actions found in day trading platforms without risking real assets. Here's a link: https://cryptospaniards.com/simulator/
