STOP..

I just run this.. but now.. I get dberror opening the official one...

also i noticed it's much less smooth when scrolling... this may jsut be because of the co-ordinates on the mouse pointer?
Mikhail created a custom visualizer for the map to speed things up.. maybe is related also (as the addons are not predrawn or something?)

this is on windows.. have not tried on linux yet

yes the problem with your client and going back to the official client was just the dependencies compiled with..
