There is no "bitom" or "coinrade" exchange, learn some basic how to write names correctly. There is hack of two south Korean exchanges Coinrail and Bithumb, all funds will be restored to users. Nothing to say about hacking exchanges, this is happening constantly and coins should not be keep online - last two hacks are not cause of recent price drop, it is in total 70 million $ damage in billions $ market.

many web site turn off their website for securities also they are not updating data also mainly they are trying to help the investors of the market. What we can do is, we can be very careful while choosing exchanges and should maintain our privacy strictly.

Yes I heard that news from my friend that is why I'm worried about what's going to happen in the market now and I'm sure it will be negative effect and it can cause market down and I hope the other exchange site makes their sites much secure.

I guess you are talking about coinrail and bithumb exchange. These two are Korean based exchange. Yes I heard these were hacked and huge amount Of money was stolen.We cant do anything of those hackers.Seeing the recent scenario, I'm a bit worried how people will keep their funds on exchange since exchanges are also insecure at this time.Something must be done in this aspect.

hacks are pretty common and they have always been common nearly as long as computers have been around. in crypto-world there is also one case of hack at least every week and sometimes they are too big that they make the news but most of them are not even worth talking about like these tiny exchanges that get hacked which OP is talking about. and they won't affect price of anything ever.

Korean exchanges Coinrail and Bithumb got hack recently,  we can take some lessons for this,  that dont stored your assets (coins/tokens) in an exchange site or else they will lose, if your exchange got hacked. Hackers are everywhere ,even the sites has a strong security, hackers can find some ways to steal, so better to be safe than sorry.

Yea sir i listen about coinrail hacked news. It is so sad to heard . I can not think why maximum exchange was hacked in past or running hacking rest of the exchange.  It is right that there is no exchange where you store your money safely. We also be aware of this. because exchange only for trading, not for storing money.

Yes obviously the users themselves have to be vigilant first of all regarding the security of their holdings. Because security is the topmost priority in the crypto market. Users need to be clear with the security aspects of their coins because the scammers are doing their jobs very well. Keeping your coins online is a risky option because you cannot entrust your hard earned wealth with any random exchange. The scams in the market have increased manifold in the past few months and so it is always preferable to have your coins in safe and reputable wallets that can be trusted.

You, the OP and other people who reply here that agrees about what exchange has been mentioned have to research first before saying yes or whatsoever, first there's no exchange with the name of "coinrade" or "bitom". And when using an exchange you should think in the very first place that there is a huge possibility that the site/exchange will be hacked since there is money behind and that's what hackers are looking for so take your risk when using this exchange and don't cry once the exchange you used are attacked.

Yes its Bithumb,a big Korean exchange which has been hacked.Such news of exchanges getting hacked seems to get normal nowadays which was once seen as a big news when Mt.Gox got hacked.That's why keeping our coins in exchanges is not advised.
