Now that "Pebble smart-watch" has its own AppStore inside Apple's one, would it be possible to code a simple wallet there? Maybe that would allow to byPass Apple restrictions, since all is done between the own watch and the iOS Pebble app  Roll Eyes

In addition, I think that all the Pebble apps are compatible with both Android and iOS, since code is executed by the watch...

Just read the Google Glasses topic, and although it wouldn't be the same (Pebble has no camera), maybe someone could try something there (I've not idea of the programming language used on it)

I'm thinking about a simple wallet from where you were able to sign transactions or something, or cold storage BTC, who knows... Maybe just confirm transactions before sending them... I've just started to think about it  Huh

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I like your two factor authentication idea. Can the pebble use NFC to communicate with say a check out? That would be easier than pulling out a smart phone.
