All cryptocurrencies are connected with Bitcoin.
But Bitcoin can grow without alticons(as it is now)
Usually if Bitcoin grows then all grows and we will see that in a few months

At the very beginning of the emergence of a new cryptocurrency, the dependence on Bitcoin prices is always strong. But with the growing popularity of Etherium, this relationship is less and less (the same trend is observed with other currencies).

Most people have the mindset that the price of ethereum rises with bitcoin and vice versa. How true is this?
based on the factual history, yes. it is possible for Etherium to be dependent on Bitcoin. Actually, most Altcoins nowadays are related to bitcoin interms of function and description. when two same things are on sale, thoe one who is higher will be the one who is more sophisticated.

Yes, last year and a few months ago the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin but now we are in a little different situation. Because altcoins fall when bitcoin rises and altcoins fall when bitcoin falls now.

I think the price of Ethereum really depends on Bitcoin. Not only the price of Ethereum, but the price of all cryptocurrencies is dependent on Bitcoin. I don't need to be surprised. Bitcoin is the leader of all currencies.

Yes, brother, the whole crypto market depends on Bitcoin, and Ethereum as well. Probably, the time, when this altcoin will be more independent will come soon but we do not know still when it can happen.

In the previous years, many people believe that ethereum  was dependent with the market value of Bitcoin such as whenever the price of btc is falling, same thing happens with the value of eth. But since the market value of most cryptos continuously fell making the proportionality not observable nowadays. So I think, it is no longer present.

actually, yes, bitcoin is a benchmark for pricing all altcoins, including ethereum, so that bitcoin has also decreased, altcoin will also experience price reductions and so will increase

The price of Ethereum depends primarily on the popularity and demand of the platform, the actions of traders, and HYIP news. The price of Bitcoin will depend on when Bitcoin will be lost confidence, well, or will be reduced. Accordingly, it reduced the credibility of Ethereum, thereby reducing prices.

Yes, the price of ethereum is dependant on bitcoin. The price increase and fall of ethereum is being controlled by bitcoin. Not only ethereum is controlled by bitcoin, all other coins (altcoins) prices are being controlled by bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin falls in the market ,the price of other coins too fall; when bitcoin price rises, they too rises. So the influence of bitcoin is being imposed on the other coins thus controlling all their growth.

Yes, very correct, there are also coins that do not rely on Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market, but very few. The high market value is basically followed by Bitcoin.

If crypto currency price crashing , so therefore Bitcoin and Ethereum with other altcoin will be crash but if there's a dump of Bitcoin , definitely only Bitcoin will dip and maybe possible increase of  Alcoin price since It is not depend on each other value.

The price of ethereum depends on its community. The more people supports ethereum the higher the value is.I believe ethereum has its own community, so it shouldnt rely on bitcoin price.

In the signature you can see how the coins moved over the years. Since the beginning of the year the whole market more or less moves together with the occasional pump and dump like blackcoin, namecoin..........in recent times.

It is not 100% dependent on Bitcoin. I saw one instance as I was studying the market, BTC went down whiles the Ethereum was very stable. But most times it determines it.

I think in the market all prices somehow depend on the value of Bitcoin in this case Ethereum is not an exception.
