I don't think so, because although ethereum is dropping enormously at the moment, those movements in the figures were the product of different things to the bitcoin drop or rise because lately, bitcoin has been very good despite the drop in ETH, so I think the two are not correlated.

because most people have their own mindset and many people say the same thing with what you ask even I think like that that the prices of btc and eth have a relationship with market prices |

Maybe it's still because I see ethereum prices always follow the price of bitcoin. I still believe in Bitcoin and Ethereum, so I still hold both of them until the price will be high. |

The prices of all altcoins depend on BTC price. It is the fact which is shown recently. BTC has fallen almost by 3 times for the last eight months, and the price of ETH has fallen even more. Altcoins can't constantly grow if BTC falls. BTC is the stablest coin on crypto the market.
It can be said that, although ethereum users continue to increase and are widely used to make various projects but the global market is certainly very dependent on bitcoin, if there is a negative sentiment about bitcoin, investors will assume that all altcoins are the same. |

Surely the value of BTC is very influential on other Altcoins. The BTC value determines all values in the altcoin. Hopefully, the value in BTC this year will soar again and all altcoins certainly get the impact.

if the ETH trend is good and the BTC trend is normal, then the ETH price will rise more sharply than BTC, and vice versa
Bitcoin and Ethereum are actually almost the same, the only difference is the service provided. And for stability, BTC is more stable than ETH, maybe because of different prices, namely 1 BTC = 6000 USD, 1 ETH = 200 USD (September 15 rate)

It is just right when the BTC dominance is higher 50%, the price of Atlcoins will depend on Bitcoin quite much. And this trend will decrease when BTC dominance is shortened |

According to what happened so far when Bitcoin fell. ETH and Altcoins declined. But recently Bitcoin's rate of decline was much slower than ETH. ETH decline fast and slow price increase and when will ETH will not rely too much on Bitcoin in the coming time?

I think the value of Bitcoin has affected all cryptocurrency markets. But they only affect a little. The value of Ethereum is still a problem, probably because the whales make the value of it drop.

Thats true mate, ethereum price movements are influenced by bitcoin. But what needs to be underlined is not the only bitcoin factor. Another factor is the decline in investor confidence in an ICO |

Previously I did not believe that the price of ethereum depends on the price of bitcoin in the market. But now, I believe that the price of ethereum is really based on bitcoin price. It's my self proving that, when the price of bitcoin was increased, the price of ethereum was also increased. So I can say ETHEREUM is the shadow of BITCOIN.

In 2017 or earlier, maybe the ETH price was depending on the BTC price. But for now, you can check at the market, ETH price is not depending to BTC price anymore. When ETH was falling drastically, the BTC price was falling slowly and not surpassing below $6k. |

I think it's wrong, not Bitcoin affects the price of the ETH but the total market capitalization affects, if the total capitalization grows, the price of the ETH and other coins grow, if it falls, then the price falls too |
