Also, keep in mind, that ICODrops adds only pre-selected ICOs to their website. Therefore, such statistics came out. In my sample of the ICO categories of the Exchange: Switcheo Network, Huobi token, Globitex and GBX. If you add other projects, the statistics will change.

Ive tried out to find the link or the source of that table but i failed. When i clicked out the link on the image the site cant be reached. Why? I dont know where those numbers came from and the RIO of each project that can reach up and i dont believe that they can able to input the exact numbers of all ICO or projects based on their categories.

Your table looks very interesting and pretty unexpected. I thought gaming and real business icos would be the most successful. How many ICOs did you take into consideration? Are you sure that you chose them without giving preference to specific areas of the projects? I can understand how exchange icos can become popular, but the icos which are just all about blockchain - well, these are unsuccessful clones of bitcoin and ethereum, so why do people keep investing in them? Real business or real estate, on the other hand, look more promising since they at least have to product to offer as well as some experience in their areas.

Wow, tha'ts a great sheet indeed! IDK. WHen I do any investment I try to analyze the underlying technology. For example the recent project where I have invested my funds was Cryptics. These guys have developed a smart AI Trading platform which can predict the price of TOP cryptocurrencies on the market with high 70% accuracy rate, and that's astonishing! So, it's better to look at underlying technology and get the idea of what it solves in real life.

They might be getting more success for one reason and thats they have their own market and most of the time exchangers get started with their services and thus utilising the token on high scale. This utilisation is what might be getting them more investors and more market volume for it. For example, BNB coin of Binance!

Quite helpful indeed. So far, it is obvious that those who invested earlier in exchange tokens or coins are really making shit load of money and the good thing about it is that they can easily get to hold for as long as they want since it is a utility token and would always be in demand for a very long time as long as the exchange is existing and it is being used widely just like binance.

I actually thought at first that gaming would actually come out to be a very good one, but it is what it is and for real, most gaming ICO has been shitty.

I believe it is actually common sense that exchange is highly needed in this space and a very good one with a lot of innovation, which is the reason what the OP said about exchange ICOs coming up with the best ROI in the long term, is true. It is not about prediction, this is about reality and what is at hand at the moment, and this is the main reason why I tend to try as much as possible to invest more in an exchange, most especially when it has a good team and a product that is of course going to make a lot of difference.

I actually thought at first that gaming would actually come out to be a very good one, but it is what it is and for real, most gaming ICO has been shitty.

In some perspective all the business are good to survive and to get us good returns. It means success of business/project is purely depend on how effectively it will be managed hence return from an ICO contribution also purely based on how effective the devs are. wow this was very helpful in selecting which ICO categories I should involve in. From my experience I knew that real state projects are the least ROI projects and also I believed Blockchain projects were the most profitable and has highest ROIs because many blockchain projects like APH ZIL were holding its demand to a certain level in bearish market also. Other than the concept we need to investigate about viability of project and also mainly the team and advisors.

I notice that most of the real estate projects are not successful and crypto cards are always scam. However, exchange projects are the best ICO the we must enter. I have seen some projects that claimed to come up with an exchange and any sane investor should have known this is a team that does not look like it would simply be coming up with anything at all, let alone something nice, and sure they did end up scam.

I am also doing ICP analysis now a days, I have got similar results in terms of exchange category of ICO. From the campaigns that I have participated most successful and profitable campaigns were about exchanges. I am working on other categories as well. Travel is another hot category..
