Depend of mining software/tool. It is the same algorithm as Turtlecoin, you shall contact their support. With current nethash, it is not necessary for miningrigrental. It is currently still below 1MH/s.

We don't have any plan for MacOS yet but we planned for web wallet which can be used for all. For 500B vs 500M, we ever thought about it too and decided to go with 500B with emission speed factor of 22. It takes ~30 years to reach 90%+ of supply.
