Did anyone received an email from bitcasino about their deposit interest promo?
I just received it and it's stated ..

Quote
You can now be rewarded with free Bitcoin and Ethereum with us. By making a deposit to Bitcasino, you can earn the following interest on your deposit:

Deposits up to 1 BTC - 10% Interest Rate
Deposits between 1 BTC and 5 BTC - 16% Interest Rate
Deposits 5 BTC and up - 22% Interest Rate

The same interest rates are applied to Ethereum deposits equivalent to the value of BTC. Your deposit will be held for 30 days. For example:

If you make a 1.5 BTC deposit, after 30 days you will receive back 1.74 BTC: 1.5 BTC from your original deposit and 0.24 BTC from the interest rate.

To make a deposit:

Simply send your desired amount of deposit to the following Bitcasino deposit address:

 BTC Deposits: 1xxxx
 ETH Deposits: 0xxxx
After 30 days, you will receive back your deposit and the interest. Please note that it will be sent back to the same wallet address the deposit was made from.
That's it, you're in!

It's deadly fascinating...
What do you think guys ? I've been playing there back in 2014 or 2015 I guess but as time goes by there's so much accusations against bitcasino.io which makes pull my self out.

Did anyone received an email from bitcasino about their deposit interest promo?
I just received it and it's stated ..

I got it too, or rather 6 of them in the short span of around 20 minutes. My guess is on Bitcasino.io being hacked somehow with the hacker trying to scam people by offering them free Bitcoin/Ethereum as this kind of "investment" makes no sense for Bitcasino. Was the address is your email also 19tj29CzDNntm8axEtqNP84YLgmLra48wy? <-- likely scam address, don't send

Email headers look valid.

Now that's interesting...
19tj29CzDNntm8axEtqNP84YLgmLra48wy i thought it was my bitcasino.io deposit address that's why i censored it

And this ethereum address 0x53B48Fa8c831135a6C21d88833DD89A2A1700790

I think this is a massive hijacking... the offers is too good to be true.

We’ve recently been made aware of a promotional email circulating from us with the subject line “Receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum With Bitcasino” with fraudulent purposes, so-called Social Engineering.

It’s important for you to know that the email contained fraudulent Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet addresses where you were asked to deposit funds to receive future interest. These are not Bitcasino wallet addresses, please do not transfer any funds.

The email was not an official Bitcasino email we never sent it out, and furthermore, our security team have confirmed this email was sent out after our promotional email software was hacked.
We are currently working with them to ensure this issue is resolved.

If you would like any further information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

On the same basis, there will always be people who fall for these mass scamming emails. Usually, if somebody asks for details to send me money then I always double check the source as the chances are that probably is a scam. Pls always be careful with your crypto and keep it safe Smiley

Just checked my email associated with my bitcasino.io account, yes I got the same email (4 emails in 14 minutes). http://prntscr.com/pcddiy
Both btc and eth address are exactly the same.
Good to see that bitcasino has confirmed that it is not official promo from them, so yeah it must be scam attempt. At first it looks legit because the email comes from cs@bitcasino.io, I got some other emails from this address as well previously but most of them are just common promotions such as deposit bonus or contests. But after reading to the email which offers a very great amount of interest, I felt there is something suspicious with it.

Thank you very much for the information, in my inbox I have 7 emails with the same request, I think somehow some email addresses have been leaked to scammers. An error of this style is because some network security may fail.

Yeah, phishing has been a common deal in bitcoin scam world and most of the time it is sent via mails (there is also google SEO and google ads but those are too obvious).

This one just took it one grade above by asking money right away, which casino would want you to send money to them right away? Think about it, you are not going to the website, you are not checking a graphic, you are not even gambling on a casino for Christ sake and you just send money to an address because they sent you an email. I hope nobody fell for this because I feel like only a moron would fell for something like this, that is not even a good attempt at a scam, I have seen miles better versions of this, hell even twitter "Elon Musk sends money" type of cliche gets more money than this.

An update for you all:

On Saturday 28th of September, our third-party software we use for sending out promotional emails, Customer.io, was compromised leading to a mass fraudulent email being sent out to predefined player groups. Within a matter of hours, our team had uncovered the situation, locked-down our account and let our players know via an onsite notification and a follow-up email.

As a tool for sending out promotional emails, Customer.io only had access to a set of email addresses and language preferences, no other personal player information such as KYC documents, passwords or any other sensitive data was available to this third-party.

As a result, we can confirm that your account on Bitcasino.io is not at risk from this incident.

Since the discovery and lock-down of the services, our teams have been working round the clock to evaluate and reinforce all security protocols, as well as thoroughly investigate the matter with any players affected. We're extremely sorry that this happened and will work with in-house specialists and the community to strengthen our internal security protocols.
Currently, we have discovered that in 24 hours three transactions were made to the fraudulent wallet addresses, totalling 0.00037299 BTC and 2.0665 ETH. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Bitcasino will never ask you to deposit to a wallet address in any communication. You should only ever deposit to the address displayed in your account cashier. Our Support Team is always on hand 24/7 to take any questions you have regarding this.

You can read more about the situation here: https://bitcasino.io/help-center/help-terms-and-conditions/security-incident-28th-of-september-2019

Thanks,

Karl

Since it was from a legit source anyone could be fooled into believing this and i was about to start a thread because i felt it was HYIP but they spammed multiple times and that aroused my suspicion, you have to inform all the users about the hack and inform everyone of the situation through your official site to avoid further damage.

I hope there is no one is trapped by this scam attempt, hope that amount sent to the scammer addresses are coming from the scammer themselves to attract people to do the same. Old trick to attract new users, to make it looks like real transaction from users who want to invest in the scam interest promotion. I have to agree that bitcasino should inform all their players no matter they are active or not in the site lately.

Edit: Just checked my email, bitcasino has sent the information related to this scam attempt. Almost missed this information since the email came to my spam folder.

Luck does strike every now and then but it runs out eventually. I just hope that you'd at least take the money and be happy and not use it for more gambling because experience tells me that you'll more likely lose it all and end up more broken that you first started. Be smart about this LUCKY strike, take your wins and run!!!

I finally hit something on Bitcasino! 17000x on Jamming jars on a 6 EURO bet! 104k EURO WIN Smiley

It looks like my bad luck streak is finally over. Also my balance was down to about 49 EURO and I almost left the machine and then hit this.
Nice of you to report back your large winning after calling them a scam and starting a thread.  Bitcasino probably appreciates it.

Okay I get it. Bitcasino, you don't want to pay me. I keep dumping thousands of euro's into your site every week and win nothing.
Looks like that wasnt true at all

either is your thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5169219.msg51961426#msg51961426

I am 100% certain I didn't call them a scam once. If you had lost over 200,000 EURO in 3 months you would be complaining too. This win took 6 months and over 200,000 EURO's in losses to hit.

That is just normal calling a casino scam when you lost Grin , part of the frustration I can feel you. Here you go now winning back some losses in the past eventhough I believe you are looking to recover all of the losses money , don't do that, grab it all step back and get some fresh air .

100k euro isn't small amount of money especially won it on a 17,000 x damn you dude .

Congratulations of the MASSIVE win! Cheesy I have never heard anyone winning 17000x on Jammin Jars, but anything is possible on high volatile games like this Smiley

Cheers,
Karl
