About BTC withdrawals and the malleability attack:

Our wallet contained 212 unconfirmed transactions that were pending for too long (outgoing).
66 of them were actually confirmed, but their tx id was mutated by an attacker exploiting the malleability issue.
146 of them failed because they were using invalid change inputs.

We checked the recieving addresses for amounts that were sent using inputs that we control.
This way, we found users who are not affected even if they dont see a transaction with the originally provided id on the blockchain.

(66 people got their BTC but under a different transaction id, 146 people need a refund/resend)

Affected users will be refunded as soon as possible.

Hi,

Is there a way to request a re-send of the email for confirmation of coin withdrawals? I have two withdrawals that are stuck because I didn't receive the confirmation email.

Thanks!

Hi again - I understand you've had a lot of other issues you've been working on, but I haven't had a response to my post above.

I have since received the confirmation email for one of my pending withdrawals and successfully confirmed and received my coins, but the other one is still showing as pending, details below:

username: simmo77
Sun Feb 02 2014 05:08:36   373223.314   LEAF   106.69.16.253   pending

thanks.

Meanwhile, here are some statistics about CoinMarket.io. Please read the whole post.

Less than 1 month running.
95+% uptime
12000+ accounts
132000+ logins
~6000 BTC in total volume
(thats an average of over 200BTC/day)
158000+ deposits
28000+ withdrawals
300000+ orders executed
Total amount of BTC successfully withdrawn? Over 4000.
Total amount of BTC stuck in limbo due to the recent attacks? Less than 40.
less than 200 problems (thats 0.6% of instances and less than 0.3% of users) with withdrawals, none permament
less than 10 problems with withdrawals before the transaction malleability issue got widespread
less than 5 problems with executed orders after the larger fix was applied on week 2
we are based on open-source projects and have donated to them and the bitcoin core developers.

Reminder: stuck BTC withdrawals are nothing to worry about. They will be handled ASAP.

We probably have one of the smallest percentage of affected users (malleable tx issue) from any exchange with a lifetime volume over 5K BTC.
2 out of 3 largest exchanges do not process BTC withdrawals at the moment. We do.

Our trading fee is 0.15% and atleast one third of it has been donated to various open-source projects, including Bitcoin.
We will continue to donate considerable amounts to meaningful open-source projects.
The recent attacks have made us alot stronger and we are now more connected to the bitcoin developers community.
We also have guys from the core team that can create custom patches for our needs.
Wait until you see our tech innovations. Jaws will be dropping.

CoinMarket.io is unique, transparent and contributes back to the community.

I have no clue why I read a support thread but I do. Smiley

This is what truly separates you from the pack!

That was a very thorough explanation, and likely my problem at btc-e. Clearly explains to me that some of the tx mall victims were able to get btc through, and some were not. I hope that btc-e is as competent as you guys are about reclaiming and re-initiating lost transactions. After all the bullshit you and i have had coinmarket, much respect. You are doing your community well.

This exchange is a breath of fresh air in the crypto exchange zone. From crawling slow coinex.pw to up and down openex.pw and solid but missing 90% of the coins BTER to zero traffic swisscex, and finally our good friends we all hate to love at Cryptsy where you never see your deposits unless you prove them with a TX ID, we have seen it all.

This exchange has a great future. I just wish it had more coins.

Withdrawal id 108.162.254.106 is stuck. Was my first and possibly last trade.
You should close down trading when withdrawals don't work. I hate limbo and i hate putting my mind on this issue. It is stealing time from me. Please send out the usde asap. Thanks

edit: confirm-mail was sent a bit late. So now i received the coins. Issue resolved. thx

I deposited some SMC an hour ago and they're visible but not confirmed. This is unusual for SMC as it's usually very quick. They did require people to upgrade the wallet yesterday I believe. Could this be the cause of the lack of confirmation? Thanks for any help.
