Have you compiled this twice? I've run into that problem before when I compiled it over and over again.

Are you trying to compile the GUI wallet or the Deamon mate?

daemon 1st, wallet 2nd if it doesn't build autmagically

how can you tell if solo mine is working properly?
in cuda miner all i get is khash/s or cgminer "new block detected"
is this normal?
is there anyway to see if the hashes are correct hashes even???

On Cgminer though it will show block accepted right after new block detected if you have solved a block and the reward will appear in your wallet right away.
