I tried that. It says no block source available.
Also I don't know much about these things.
I do have the new wallet though.
Eventhough I mined fcks and bought a lot in the past
I really am a noob so  I might be doing something fundamentally wrong.
Do you know where to find your fckbankscoin.conf file ? If yes, you should be able to add the line as mentioned in my previous message, if there is no fckbankscoin.conf file yet you can create one by using any plain text editor.

Yes I copied my previous conf file and updated with the new addnode
can you check which version wallet you have and what blockheight it is at? It's under help->debug windows->information

 v1.1.0.0-unk-beta    118900

That should work, you could try opening the console window, also under help->console and then enter:
addnode 84.29.56.160 add
(press enter to confirm after the above command)

and make sure p2p port 21779 is not being blocked by your firewall

Thanks syncing now

Very good !!! I'm currently re-indexing the blockexplorer and will launch the pool in a few hours with a bit of luck  Grin

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I've just fired up the miningpool for FCK, feel free to give it a try. The blockexplorer is also available now.

Miningpool: http://fck.coincave.nl

Block explorer: http://coincave.nl:3601

We do need the community to get involved if we want to revive this coin. Maybe someone can have a go and get FCK listed somewhere, and a website would also be nice.

Re-indexing the blockexplorer one more time after a few new nodes updated the blockchain. After this has finished I will reset the poolserver too to reflect the correct blocks.

Hello! is the exchange of this coin?
It's up to the community to get FCK listed at an exchange. I have just updated the code with some extra checkpoints, the pool is being tested at this moment and the blockexplorer is also running.

Holy FCK!  Re-starting my wallet, let's see if something is still alive.  Might even dust off Gridseed Orb for the occasion.

If anyone wants to help me to bring FCK back to life I am still an owner of the official fck FB group. https://www.facebook.com/fckbanks/ (about 200 likes - not many but it can be a good start)

Wallet on my computer that used to run FCK is connected to 1-2 nodes right now.  Block height is 617445, much higher than the one on coincave.nl pool.  Unless I misunderstand something...  Not sure at this point what the most recent blockchain is, a bit afraid to reset mine to zero.  Client database folder has only three blockchain files, the latest dated October 2015, no new blocks since then.

The coins developed in 2014 are also old coins, but I feel that the heat of concern seems to have passed. What does the developer do not do?

Let's first see if we can get a stable network running again. I have the following active nodes, so if anyone wants to hook up and help that would be a good start. We'll see if the nodes can agree on the correct blockheight  Grin

addnode=66.66.116.180
addnode=62.59.168.89
addnode=85.214.92.213
addnode=82.39.133.102

Also please understand, there is NO developer currently. Anything we want to change, we have to do it as a community.

Once the nodes can agree on a common blockheight you can give mining a try, I have setup a temporary pool at the following url:

http://62.59.168.89:8082/

Port 3020 is vardiff and all other ports are fixed diff. Payments are processed every 30 minutes directly to your walletaddress. Unomp requires NO registration, just use your preferred miner, use your walletaddress as username and fill in anything as password, something like this:

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://62.59.168.89:3020 -u walletaddresshere -p passwordanythingyoulike

I am also working on better stats since Unomp is lacking some crucial data, the first results can be seen on the following page, the stats will auto-refresh every 20 seconds and are live data from the pool and network.

http://62.59.168.89:8081/fckstats.php
