Activity 30 Rank newbie

Hello guys, I have a problem with my bitcointalk rank. I have got 30 activity but my rank is still in Newbie.  What is the problem?

Patience is most important here because you also need to earn merit to advance further.
Have fun beign here, help others, read a lot, give smth from you to this wonderful community.

It takes time to update your rank so by the time you are expected to rank up, you are just hasty.

After some users will be complaining that the merit system isn't working. Here is a example of it working perfectly.  Users isn't worth meriting and since them haven't received any.  He/she needs improve on his writing skills and maybe apply for any of those Merit Giveaways threads that's if he thinks he has quality posts aside the one line replies I see.

The date he posted this 30 activity is the only thing needed to rank up.
But now atleast 1 merit is needed to rank up to Jr. Member, it was implemented some months ago.

In addition to activity, everyone now has a merit score, and you need both a certain activity level and a certain merit score in order to reach higher member ranks. The required scores are:

Rank	Required activity	Required merit
Brand new	0	0
Newbie	1	0
Jr Member	30	1
Member	60	10
Full Member	120	100
Sr. Member	240	250
Hero Member	480	500
Legendary	Random in the range 775-1030	1000

Well this thread is quite old and the best thing is for it to get locked so it can drain out.
The OP is still in search for that merit to rank up but surly knows by now the criteria to ranking up

Someone like OP is prime proof of the need for more than 1 merit to rank up. He posts almost nothing but rehashed brain dead junk but one fellow zombie would be enough to get him infecting more threads. It really needs to be a minimum of 3-5 merits to pull someone out of newbie hell.

It's very nice that you gave this one, so much needed Merit point to that user! Now, he will not have to wait months to become a Junior Member. It's good that here are users like you. That's why i like Bitcointalk community.

It is really nice that some users understand that for newbies it is not easy get even 1 merit point. We all really want to be part of this community, but our observations usually are not worth merit points for long time users. Hero and Legendary! Thank you for beaing with us.
