I think this is a good news that Facebook has lifted it's ban against cryptocurrency ads. However, ads about ICOs and MLM related cryptos are still banned. But I think this is a good start. What do you think about this? Will this affect the price of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general? Is this a preview of an upcoming bullrun?

The price of bitcoin is certainly not affected, but the demand and interest of investors to the ICO is exactly produced interest. I think for facebook it's only for the best, it's the only social platform that offers paid advertising. Since Twitter, YouTube and Google refused to advertise ICO companies.

Personally I was tired of seeing Roger Ver's face on every advertisement space out there promoting the latest ICO thing. A global ban was overkill tho, it's never the way to go. We can't obviously let scammers advertising their scams all over the place because it takes this space away from legit projects, so we need some regulation on what ads are shown, which isn't a global ban.

The problem is: who gets to decide what is and isn't an ICO-scam? What guarantees this regulator cannot be bribed to list things on the ads? It should be a decently sized group deciding on that to mitigate said risk.

The good news is that it says that Facebook understands the importance of the crypto-currency market. After all, advertising is, first of all, a huge market, with good money, it would be strange if Facebook would refuse such a pie. In general, I think the very idea of banning advertising crypto, not possible.

As far as I know, Facebook says that promoting the ICO on facebook will harm the user. ICO scam projects will take advantage of advertising on Facebook for phishing purposes

Well yeah this could probably happen especially if a certain country has already accepted and embracing cryptocurrency. Ban on crypto ads will depend on each country regarding on if the system is being rejected or accepted. Facebook is not that dumb to let the people see the crypto ads where a certain country has ban crypto ads. It will just cause facebook to get lawsuit on why they are not removing crypto ads on a certain country which ban cryptocurrency.

It is a welcome development, I think they are beginning to see the good side of cryptocurrencies and that some projects are actually very good for society.Maybe they knew all along but were being forced to place a ban on crypto behind the scenes. You never can trust world government s

I guess a lot of investors pervceived that ban as Facebook neglecting the whole crypto sphere which resulted in that 5% dip of Facebook share price. I still hope that Telegram will be the first to fully integrate crypto into their messenger.

It's probably for the best that ICO ads are still banned, because I saw a lot of scam ads on facebook and adwords about fake ico's where newbies easily fell for it.

Woow this is really a great and good news. This shows that cryptocurrency is getting to the zenith. I do not know why people still panic and fear crypto investment. Those with the idea that cryptocurrency and ICOs will collapse should forget and join it. I think as time goes on there will remove the ban on ICOs too. I believe they want to regulate the rate at which scams are pulling into the system. All the same this is good to hear.

Now a questionnaire was developed, which should be filled by all those advertisers who want to advertise cryptocurrencies. Those who want to place such ads on Facebook, should tell about the details of their projects. In this regard, I think there will be fewer bad projects

I think you must at least dump your girlfriend for that or she must leave you for not trusting her. More or less you acted short on patience that isn’t working for some investors.

Now the market is red and no bad news is circulating for almost a week now after the hack incident and banning lift.

So on what purpose does facebook in mind, let the ball rolling for a good show.

It is a very good news to hear. Facebook may give a high impact in the cryptocurrency because Facebook is a very popular social media and if the ads play in Facebook, maybe many people will invest in bitcoin and recognize cryptocurrency.

Its a good news, and it will make an impact to the market price. I guess facebook will soon launch a Bitcoin or ETH wallet, since they already had a fiat wallet on their platform.

Even with these move by Facebook , it didnt quite moved the market than it used to last year . Mark was so salty about crypto since his bitter rivals surpassed him (not quite sure) . Now he's lifting the ban , i think the rumors will come into reality that Facebook is going to have their very own coin or something . I just wish that they pay users on their posts and likes  Cheesy Cheesy

With this news I feel happy, so the bounty hunter will be able to play again on facebook. I like your post because it provides a source of information, let alone the news is sourced in a cointelegrap that is definitely the truth about the world of crypto.
facebook lifted a ban related to the case that yesterday meant a signal for the Bitcoiner to be able to re-invest. I believe this news could change the price of Bitcoin and other crypto. on to the moon Bitcoin

It is indeed a good news for all of us with the reversal or banning of cryptocurrency in our country, and it really a great pleasure that we do have this kind of opportunity with us, we are thankful that facebook open their eye and consider things.

I read the article on cointelegraph and I think it's a good step for cryptocurrencies but I also understand Facebook here. Just look at the examples they are giving. For example "Use your retirement funds to buy Bitcoin!" or all the possible Scam projects, which could use Facebook to raise awareness. People who invest blindly in Bitcoin and in shitty projects will just damage the whole cryptospace. They will also be the first ones to fear and spread fud when every thing is going down as it did the last months.

I mean this could be the return of cryptoucrrencies and ICO tokens but not with the hype that it was and not with the popularity that it was first at, but it is good news any way and it will surely have some good impact on the market and energized more because it really needs it, and i think that this is coming from Facebook because they are planing to launch their own cryptoucrrency and they will probably get so much hate if they ban crypto ads.

Facebook won't just ban bitcoin to the extent because they are gaining a lot of profit from it, so there is no reason to ban it, everything has a risk if you invest, it is your own decision if you took out parts of your bag and give  throw it to an investement so weather if the project is legit or scam facebook can not be blamed.

I believe they dont have to ban the crypto currency. The solution is there must be a regulation in ICO. There must be a KYC. It will clean up the scams. Google and Faceboook, must hire scam detecting , philsting detecting people.

Facebook was really only going after the Scammy ICO projects.  A lot of people were deceived by flashy adds telling them to invest for easy money.  There is also a lot of speculation right now that facebook will develop their own crypto coin

This is really big news for everyone in crypto world, facebook realized that cryptocurrency is good, they should only ban those advertisements that are scam, like fake ICO. Because those ICO will lead the people getting scam, specially there are many using facebook now.

Advertisers still need to be pre-approved in order to promote their product or platform to Facebook, ICO restrictions are fine I remember last year from Facebook ads without these restrictions unknown ICO ads are promoting out of nowhere I don't even know those projects until I found those on Facebook and google unluckily some of them turns out to be scam.

This is not to lift the ban, but ico needs to be reviewed, which means that Facebook does not object to cryptocurrency and ico. They are just worried that their users are deceived by scam ico.

Even they did not lift the banning of cryptocurrency and advertisement on their site!
you know why? people are eager to have cryptocurrency they keep posting to help many ICO and this is what they can't stop.
Yes they announced it but not enough for the community to stop.

Here are some sources:

https://www.cnbc.com/video/2018/06/26/facebook-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-ads.html

https://cointelegraph.com/news/facebook-s-crypto-ad-ban-reversal-power-play-gets-their-own-news-stuck

https://www.recode.net/2018/6/26/17505876/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-bitcoin-ico-ban-reversed

This is a very great news to the bitcoin and cryptocurrencies community. It is a very good encouragement to those that are scared of investing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It will help tell them that bitcoin is not bad after all.
The news will also affect the price of bitcoin as more people will accept bitcoin and this will increase the marketcap which will ultimately increase the price of bitcoin.

If the reverse will take effect soon i am pretty sure that this will help a lot in uplifting the price of bitcoin in the market.

Barely any effect on the price, let alone a start to a bull run. However, it is the right move for Facebook to make from the start: they shouldn't ban crypto outright like they did last time. I have to agree with ICO ads banning though. I think ICOs are just too risky for everyday people in Facebook. These people might not really know what ICO really is, how risky they are, and just correlating them with the fancy cryptocurrency hype.

I wonder what prompted Facebook to revoke their ban, does it have to do with their ads revenue from crypto service?

This is really big news for everyone in crypto world, facebook realized that cryptocurrency is good, they should only ban those advertisements that are scam, like fake ICO. Because those ICO will lead the people getting scam, specially there are many using facebook now.

Does facebook have the time to check the authenticity of an ICO? Something can appear to be all authentic in the start but then still be able to run away at the end. A lot of ICOs here are like that. They are paying at the start and then later on the "buyers/investors" are actually just themselves and are going to dump the coin once it goes to the exchange. I'm pretty sure if there's a surefire way to validate the authenticity of an ICO, this forum will be the first one to find out about that and one of the first one to implement it. So much fake ICOs are making the reputation of crpytocurrency bad. On the other hand, people can always use fake names/fake accounts and remain anonymous to the world. This is the Internet, people can stay anonymous.

I believe they dont have to ban the crypto currency. The solution is there must be a regulation in ICO. There must be a KYC. It will clean up the scams. Google and Faceboook, must hire scam detecting , philsting detecting people.

That means they should be able to hire someone who sees everything. Because there's no way they can filter out the legits from the non-legits unless they see everything. And even then, the plans of an ICO team to bail out/become a scam the moment they have finished their ICO can be discussed all offline.

the price til today still stuck but this is good news indeed and i think eventually facebook will lifted ban ICO ads too because with development of ICO then this is good opportunities to get more users because facebook usually used to promote cryptocurrencies and facebook also will get more money from those kind of ads

That's a good news which would even make more publicity on crypto currencies and ico as well which would bring in more retail and big investors. From investor point of view, they get to access and review the coin as well. So for me I m happy for this news and would help me in choosing good icos and also take some good returns from them. I would still focus on major coins and make some strong portfolios by trading.

I think this will very positively affect the crypto industry and more and more people will get to know about the newly coming cryptos and also invest in it. I think crypto has got huge potential and profits in it an people will know the potential of it due to the lift up of the ban on crypto marketing on facebook again. This will also affect the price of BTC and other alts.

The ironic thing here is the Facebook company operation relies on people not making themselves anonymous but basically freely giving their personal data to be marketed to by advertising across the site or just sold afaik.    So crypto or at least the anonymous part of it is contrary to that targeted data business mindset they use, Facebook really isnt free.   They did try to ban accounts without verifiable user data at one point, not sure if they are still doing this.

I am glad to learn this but even if they had upheld the ban i don't think it will make any difference on our fortunes with bitcoin since many facebook users are not crypto enthusiast and we don;'t need them to succeed since we have bitcointalk which is a bigger and better platform.

it's not about crypto enthusiasts. It's about reaching out to regular people. I honestly hope facebook will be replaced by some decentralized service that will allow people to monetize their own data directly.

FB decided to ban crypto ads. However, I am expecting moderated/rectified policy from them soon.

It was about to happen because it doesn't make any sense to ban the entire sector just because few people from that sector are misusing the platform. It was affecting the growth of genuine companies and indirectly the sector was suffering from this ban. However, as we all know that crypto industry has grown too big now and it is unstoppable at this stage.

I am in favour of blocking out any spammers in any field. Google and Facebook need to create a filter against such people. To ban the whole cryptocurrency ads was unfair to start with. I hope that such decisions are not repeated in the future. Why do you think they banned them?

Why facebook and other social media prohibit crypto ads on things I think crypto ads pay quite bigger than other ads, maybe they are afraid that if they put up their crypto ad it will be categorized by the government so they are afraid to put a crypto advertisement maybe that's the reason

Many people who do not know how to know the existence of ICO's scam especially for beginners in the crypto world as a scam every day. If there is a fake ICO crypto being reported by many people and facebook will also ban such a presence. Cool

Because there is a chance of buying Coinbase. He is entering this market. Soon Facebook will advertise crypto money for itself.

There are a lot of confusing threads in relation to this.

Some threads also mention that they are planning to launch their own coin and if this is true, why will they allow advertisement of competing coins. If the new mentioned in this thread is really true, I do not think that they are going to launch their coin any time soon.

The reversal of the facebook ban on crypto related ads was a big relief to the whole crypto community especially to bounty hunters and team members who are offering Initial Coin Offerings in support of project. This is because facebook is a very big social media platform where different people all over the world interact and so many people would get to know about the project and decide to invest or not.

Its a good news Facebook reverse ban on crypto because of this decision help bitcoin price stability also Facebook know the value of cryptocurrency and Facebook still Continue the ban on ICO and MLM but sure all bans will be reverse soon, social media sites are getting more and more visitors from these ads and after ban they getting less visitors so this can be a reason they did reverse ban on cryptocurrency.

I do not think that whole crypto ads could be ban, for me it will be special "part" of ads that will be showed and other once will be just banned cause this will filter scam coins from the normal projects that don't want to rob us.

This is a little bit miss-leading...

They will still ban ICO ads but from now on they will allow specific companies and advertiser that they will specifically approve to display ads on fb...

Either way, people and different ICO are still able bypass the ban by promoting content on fb, and not display ads...

As there’s clearly too much ad revenue potential to ignore, Facebook  finally announced it’s reversing its cryptocurrency ad ban effective immediately.

The decision comes with a few caveats, however. The company says it will allow ads and related content from “pre-approved advisers,”

ya, but will still not allow ads promoting binary options and initial coin offerings.

Here are some sources:

https://www.cnbc.com/video/2018/06/26/facebook-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-ads.html

It is a good thing to implement this type of change for bitcoin society. As time goes by, it is about the security that we are trying to improve witg bitcoin. Well then, its reliability is already check, though if you are to count its cost then some will not bare with it. So, so far, this is a good thing to be implemented knowing that Facebook is an influential social media application.

I think the Facebook is just protecting their users on those fake projects that flooding in the Facebook ads. Although it's the responsibility of the users if they will invest on those ico as it's too risk to invest without doing a research.

Here are some sources:

https://www.cnbc.com/video/2018/06/26/facebook-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-ads.html

https://cointelegraph.com/news/facebook-s-crypto-ad-ban-reversal-power-play-gets-their-own-news-stuck

https://www.recode.net/2018/6/26/17505876/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-bitcoin-ico-ban-reversed
May be Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has seen the big potential of bitcoin and cryptocurrency and they are now planning to launch there on ICO.

i think it will give an effect to the price and run of bitcoin, because facebook is very wide that even child can access it. its a kind of endorsing bitcoin, maybe not full but its a good start and a good partner on terms of business. if this both facebook and bitcoin group will   be a partner in long time,  it can make a big impact to the governments and the whole world.

Its old news of Facebook that they are banning cryptocurrency ads but i can see still ads are appearing. i don't think bitcoin still banned ads.
he talks about the opposite, facebook has allowed ads about crypto. I think the price will not move too big considering it's only the permissions on facebook ads that I think facebook has been abandoned by some of its users, especially after the privacy case of customers who leaked some time ago.

again and again, this news is just news that is not fundamental, in fact there has never been an official statement about this ban even facebook still allow crypry currency ads on their website. even some campaigns still include a facebook campaign on their bounty

For crypto world, it is good news that facebook understand what is crypto, and why they should let it spread then banned. I hope many countries who ban crypto will unban and let people decide what to do.

This should help with the popularity of cryptocurrencies in general as more people would have he chance to see it. Facebook and other social medias are so effective in gathering attention that even the news of the ban getting lifted would pique a person's interest.

This is good news since Facebook is still the major social media being used. This will greatly help Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency be known to many people.

s there’s clearly too much ad revenue potential to ignore, Facebook announced it’s reversing its cryptocurrency ad ban effective immediately. The decision comes with a few caveats, however. The company says it will allow ads and related content from pre-approved advisers,” but will still not allow ads promoting binary options and initial coin offerings. Facebook had first enacted the ban in January, saying at the time that too many companies in this space were “not currently operating in good faith. While it admitted that banning all crypto advertising was a broad change, the company said that its new policy would “improve the integrity and security of our ads, and to make it harder for scammers to profit from a presence on Facebook.

Not a big fan of Zucker here.... So I don't really care whether he allows crypto ads or not. That said, I have a feeling that his hostility towards crypto might be having something to do with his rivalry with the Winklevii.

It's all about advertising, for sure crypto believers will enjoy this news after the reversal they can now begin to share again those supported cryptos that they've got, the only matters here maybe it's much better to add some limitations to prevent possible scams to circulate more iside this social media
venue, restrictions will help people/investors to decide first before engaging to any project that will end their investment being loss.

This was gonna happen sooner or later. Facebook wants to protect people from investing in scams and ponzi schemes. ICO's currently are the most risky investment as many of the tokens are either launched at less prices than they were during initial coin offerings or are scams. whereas investing in crypto currencies is choice of people and their advertisements doesn't affect or promote risky or scam investments.

Banning of facebook to cryptocurrencies were already at the news few months back, these had caused more people  to worry but i still see that it is being advertise in facebook i was just being complacent that they can't turn back off with cryptocurrency ads,but rather accept the new trends to be adopted using social media.

Facebook canceled some of the bans and they did not completely cancel the advertising restrictions on cryptocurrency and ICO!
Fecebook reviews advertisements for cryptocurrencies, and advertisements with scams are still banned. This is a responsible performance for users!

They had to do it, because it was like banning the Internet. It was an absolutely useless and stupid decision to ban bitcoin advertising. I think they specifically did it to influence the price and get some profit from it.

This is an excellent news for all the cryptocurrency community. I don't know why they placed the ban in the first place. But i am glad they made the right decision in the end. Facebook needs to review their decisions more carefully next time, so nothing like this ever happens.

I think in the end commercial considerations have played a role. But I am surprised that the decision to reverse the ban has come when the price of cryptocurrencies is depressed. The ICO market is down right now and not many cryptocurrency companies will be advertising.

hopefully on the lifting of the ban cryptocurency on Facebook this bitcoin prices will be stable again, but why ICo ads are still banned? and I hope i.o can work with Facebook so that ICo ads can be re-displayed on Facebook.
Probably because Facebook is afraid of receiving an false ICO ad that actually a scam, this could tarnish the name of Facebook that already bad because of the selling of private users data some time ago that makes Facebook very cautious and tighten the rules proven with the banning of crypto which is still considered a scam by common people.

was it worth it to prohibit the brand from the very beginning? it seems to me that the original ban was due to illiteracy and ignorance of the world of crypto-currencies. Now, when she decided to release her tokens, it would be foolish to forbid advertising crypts. Soon, and Twitter will join it.

Maybe Zuckerberg or Facebook already bought tons of bitcoins. Now they are ready to support it. It is beneficial to them anyways as they can simply ask for some payments in bitcoin and no need for some visa, banks, etc where some people believes its more hassle.

it looks like it's just a conspiracy and they are trying to make traders panic and finally a lot of trdaers who sell their assets at very cheap prices. because until now there are still many cryptocurrency ads on Facebook.

I thinks this report is not validated and this is just a negative speculation that is trying to destruct image of crypto currency investment so people will be worried and sell there coins in a very low price so that the market value will dump and bigger investor can buy the coins in very low price.

Here are some sources:

https://www.recode.net/2018/6/26/17505876/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-bitcoin-ico-ban-reversed

will, even though theres a limits about the advertisement on facebook about crypto at least theres a positive outcome, thats they lifting the band of crypto in advertisement on facebook, actualy when i heards this news i feel great, but as far as i remember,i never feel this situation in facebook is a threats into the worlds of digital currency system, because nothings is changes everythings are normal and i can see many advertisement about crypto.

I think they are still banning crypto related ads, because they always remove my post. They alwaays says that my post is just a spam but the thing is I just only post 1 crypto related on my facebook.

This is a good and a welcomed news. It goes to show bitcoin is growing stronger and more people are beginning to accept and adopt its use. I believe with time bitcoin will spread all across the globe.

This is another simple step for the crypto to rise again. This simple means that with this step by facebook, the bitcoin will be advertised and the facebook users will be imformed that such thing as bitcoin exist. And if it discusses about the bitcoin in general it should discussed the positive effects and the perks as well as the advantages of using bitcoin.

I think it's a good news for cryptocurrency and also for Facebook itself because I heard that they wanted to jump into blockchain technology. So, Facebook will have their own cryptocurrency or token. We shall waiting for the official announcement from Facebook about it.

Yes, I think this is also a good start for crypto currencies. if Facebook revokes the ban on cryptocurrency advertising then cryptocurrency ads will appear again on Facebook, I'm sure the prices of bitcoin and altcoin will recover because people will be motivated to buy bitcoin and altcoin.

Good news because cryptocurrency is not only about ICOs and MLMs. But for bull run i still don't think it gonna happen because whales still want little trader to panic and sell all their asset before pump price.

Are you reading the article as well as the post clearly? Or are you just some shitposter who tries to comment randomly. People like you should leave the earth already lol.

Not just didn’t read the news, but also didn’t read the title correctly

I believe they dont have to ban the crypto currency. The solution is there must be a regulation in ICO. There must be a KYC. It will clean up the scams. Google and Faceboook, must hire scam detecting , philsting detecting people.
Maybe the regulation and KYC will follow if it‘s completed, for now this reverse banning is enough to give a green signal from the Facebook for the users of crypto

Thats a good move and a needed move. I have read these news almost 3 to 4 times in this community itself. Now lets see how the investors can be bought in the ICO as facebook has always had paid advertising.Hopefully btc price would become stable and lets expect some milestones by end of this year if more investors pump the market or move on with the current trend.I myself am waiting for some good moves in the market with which some more portfolios can be built.

maybe in the future all the rules that are prohibited from Facebook regarding ICO will be permitted, I think Facebook is still studying the important points related to ICO, like crypto ads, initially banned, but now allowed.

Facebook should not banning cryptocurrency ads in the first place. If they didn't ban crypto ads, the crypto market would not dropping.
The problem is there were many scam ICO's that promoted by social media ads like facebook and twitter.
Do you know what is the reason for facebook lifting their crypto ads ban ? i think they want to create their own crypto.

Have you had the time to read any of the given articles, you could have been able to answer your own questions.

Quote

Not only Facebook but the ban of cryptocurrencies advertising in Twitter, and Google as well has made the price of bitcoin go down.

Quote

This is exactly why there was a ban in cryptocurrency for advertising. It was to prevent people from getting scammed by these ICOs since most of them are a scam anyway. But when the ban was lifted, ICOs are still banned. Advertisements regarding cryptocurrencies have become allowed but the advertisements that encourages you to buy or invest in a specific cryptocurrency (basically all ICOs) and get-rich-quick schemes are still not allowed.

Who doesn't want more money from cryptocurrency people? Smiley In the article it was mentioned that Mark Zuckerberg wanted to "study cryptocurrencies further". Cryptocurrency in general aren't a scam anyway, it's just the ICOs that makes people lose money.

Thats one thing they must do,since zuckerberg knows how popular cryptocurrency now and this can add traffic to their sites and investors and members of this community uses their site more often so still its the business is what they are concern and not the scammming that they use as first issue before they banned cryptocurrency adds

I think this is good news that Facebook has revoked its ban on cryptocurrency advertising. This news will not affect the price of Bitcoin, but the impact of the lifting of the ban is very good for cryptocurancy, because it can strengthen the faith of investors and can be a very good promotional tool to attract more new investors, if many new investors enter investment this means the bull market coming soon. we just wait for what happens in the future.

Why am I just seeing this? It's as though I'm so behind on all of this stuff. And I think there's some censoring somewhere. You just hardly find random discussions anywhere about Bitcoin. Or is it the investors that are just not taking the gist outside. I only find Bitcoin related news on this forum. Anyway, this is really good news. Good for both the Bitcoin market and Facebook.

Your behind because you are not online all the time . actually this news is not new and its been a long time ever since facebook had announce thay they ban ico and other illegal crypto ads and now , they are saying that they reverse it which is indeed a good news for us because this can help out the crypto comunity to grow evenly .

Also ,  there is also a news which facebook claims that they are now planning their own crypto and that is also the reason on why they did ban other crypto ads because they dont need a competition .

This is really good news for every crypto holders, they should not ban cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency is created for being decentralized. People should know the basic learning of crypto, like knowing or identifying risks in crypto, like choosing a right crypto wallet, and identifying if some ICO are scams.

It surely is. Let these tech giants give Cryptos the opportunity to thrive. Yes they are trying to protect investors from being ripped off their money, their actions will not stop it  nor develop the industry. I'm glad Facebook has given the green light. Hope others follow suit.

This is a good decision coming from Facebook to uplift the ban, I think that these crypto ads are the ones who strengthen the market of Facebook, and may be the reason why they lifted the ban, and it was right for them to ban ICO ads, some of them are just painfully annoying, and some ICOs are just misleading people, and may be the reason why they are still banned from advertising in Facebook, good job Facebook Team.

Here are some sources:

https://www.cnbc.com/video/2018/06/26/facebook-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-ads.html

https://cointelegraph.com/news/facebook-s-crypto-ad-ban-reversal-power-play-gets-their-own-news-stuck

https://www.recode.net/2018/6/26/17505876/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-bitcoin-ico-ban-reversed
Recently due to data leak of the users for money news was reason for the bug dump in the earnings for the Facebook platform , that why they comes again in the market to make earnings with every possible ways , that why they again started cryptocurrency ads .
Another thing that I found in this matter is that , Facebook was looking to ban the cryptocurrency ads of the investment and icos project only , but their bot were banning all type software the cryptocurrency ads , so after that may be they made improvement in Thier ads not to detect whether the cryptocurrency ad is guinune services based or jsut to steal money by the investors .
Here in the present time here we should remain happy that we have now able to use cryptocurrency ads to advertise our services but surely here one thing that we should keep in our mind is that , what happened with that amount of money of Facebook ads account which are now blocked by the Facebook , because I lost about $500 in my Facebook ad account and I want my money back , since I asked for the componsation by the Facebook but not yet got any reply from the Facebook team .
Hope in the future they will not steal money of the users by blocking the account of the users and atleast they will review over the as before ban the ad account .

This is great as it tends to bring back more crypto related adverts on Facebook. Though I feel Mark is really upto something up his sleeves. I sense Facebook cryptocurrency coming in board soon.

I saw such a significant number of those shitty ICO tricks expressing they would "10x" after coin distribution, and tragically I have almost certainly that the uneducated people succumbed to it. It's a terrible method to bring new people into crypto, through trick promotions on the universes most well known social media network...

I hope they are much stricter now. Mark Zuckerburg is a visionary so I'm sure he knows that cryptocurrencies have a future so that is why change his mind and reverse his decision. ICOs are really risky and sometimes misleading so I won't mind if they stopped those ads again.

I always read this in this forum. Its always a topic here about the banning of ICO projects in facebook and othe social media. Well, if Mark Zuckerburg lifted its banned against cryptocurrency ads its a good news because they are open to crypro world now. If ever still Crypto projects are still banned well I think Mark Zuckerburg has a reason for it.

maybe Facebook is starting to consider they want to start adopting cryptocurrency for services that Facebook provides
for example, you can use FB Tokens to pay for FB Ads or so on
then the only way to be able to walk is, by opening access to crypto ads on the Facebook platform

Is this a preview of an upcoming bullrun?

Hi nonconformist!

As much as facebook's decision to ban cryptocurrency on their platform had an impact on the crypto economy, them revising their decision and allowing again most of the cryptocurrency related postings (with the exemption of ICOs, Exchange and other Trading adverts) does not indicate nor preview an upcoming bullrun. I doubt that facebook have a hand to create one.

Though this is a very good news, its a sign that things are warming up. Facebook revoking the cryptocurrency ban (again, most of it) will allow once again the unrestricted flow of information that could boost more of this economy. Right now, unrestricted access to information and freedom to promote cryptocurrencies are quite essential for global adoption and growth. Really glad facebook lifted the ban.

What an interesting announcement! I sure that  more and more people will research on bitcoin and the future of Bitcoin will be improved. That is a pity for ICO and MLM.

This is good cause I don't really know the reason for the ban in the first place. Because Facebook itself is partaking in the block chain development now they lifted the ban. That is absurd. Anyway facebook is welcome onboard, thanks for supporting the crypto world.

Revocation of the ban on crypto ads from Facebook has not affected its price movements because the crypto market, especially Bitcoin, is currently not affected by the news circulating, but the current price movements are more influenced by market activity than traders so to increase the price of bitcoin needs more there are many more trusts from traders and investors towards bitcoin so that the demand for bitcoin will increase and this will make the price of bitcoin move upwards.

This was not a 'reversal' but an update to its January ad policy change, which it promised to revisit at the time. But it also reflects a mellower mood on cryptocurrency than at the beginning of the year, when bitcoin was in the middle of a free-fall from its December high water valuation over $19,000. Now it's rested at just over $6,000 (as of this writing), and in the interim, Facebook even started considering its own coin. It remains to be seen whether Twitter and Google will also relax their stances on banning cryptocurrency ads.

I don't know the reason for the ban in the first place, is it because they don't have a blockchain and now they possess blockchain they are looking for a way people can advertise there project also. It is not possible.

For the entire period of the ban on crypto-currency ads, I have never been blocked. I think that all the prohibitions were only in words, and they did nothing.
