Just got 10 new RX580 sapphires with Hypnix memory, getting maximum 22mhz.

Few months ago i made a first miner, also with hypnix memory they get 28mhz.

I have switched the new 22mhz into the old miner, and now GPU 1 is getting 28mhz(old) and the new one still only 22, so it has nothing to do with software.
Also flashed the bios the same as the 28 mhz ones, and still 22mhz.

any idea???

- what OS you are running ? If windows 10 , did you run the clock speed patch for the new cards ? from my own experience reaching 22-24 and wont pass for 28-30 is usually a problem of not running the clock speed patch on windows 10 .

You can download the clock speed patch by googling " ATi clock patcher" filename atikmdag and download the latest version of it I beleive it is 1.47

- If you are not running windows 10 then we need more detailed information to be able to help .

Did you change GPU workload from Graphics to Compute in AMD drivers?
Try this https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/DH-024.aspx

Have you tried to re-mod your bios card? To make sure you were doing the mod with a proper way.

One other thing that may you need to try is giving that card (the troubled one) dummy output but no need to connect to the display.

Dummy output (Dummy display) means connecting a display adapter (usually I use HDMI adapters) without connecting it to the monitor.

That was one of AMD's card issue and happened to a few series while used for mining. Not always, but sometimes it was happening.

Hello friends, I know many have hashrate problems after the windows 10 update, basically lost 3 or 4 hash points per card.
in my particular case, it goes down from 30.7 Mh / s to 27.5 Mh / s
I have 5 Msi Cards Rx-580 8Gb of which lost 16 Mh / s in total.
Too much for an ethereum Rig.
Solution.....

1 ° Back up all the information they have.
2 ° Have already downloaded the following Software.
     -Windows 10 RS2 (1703 July 2017 - 64 bits)
     -DDU v17.0.8.6
     -winrar64
     -Claymore's Dual Ethereum + Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal_Blake2s_Keccak
AMD + NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5
     - [Guru3D.com] -MSIAfterburnerSetup442
     -atikmdag-patcher-1.4.6
     -Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23
4 ° Install Windows 10 Pro
5 ° Configure Virtual Memory:
    min: 16000
max: 32000 note: Depends on the number of cards they have in the Rig, upload the virtual memory.
6 Stop windows update service (the problem of installing windows RS3, is that it reaches a point where the update to RS4 is not the user's decision, but it is automatic and you can not say no, then the solution is RS2, since there you can choose to install later, and stop the Windows Update Service.
7 How to stop the Windows update service ?:
     -press Windows key + R
-Once Open EXECUTE, write: services.msc and accept
-Find at the end of the list of services "windows Update" double click
-Type of Start: Disabled, Apply, Accept. Close.
8 ° configure power in Control Panel: Choose High Performance, review and put suspension status in "Never". (the screen of your choice)
9 ° Now there are some basic updates that are installed automatically when installing windows, vga motherboard sound drivers etc ...

a- Run DDU remove AMD graphics drivers installed by windows (Restart)
b- Install: Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23
c- install atikmdag-patcher-1.4.6
d- Install and Configure MSI Afterburner Setup 4.4.2
(my personal configuration is: 1300Mhz GPU Clock, 2200 Mhz Memory Clock.
     Fan Speed 80% 45 ° C
e- Set Claymore 11.5 to Choice (already exists on 11.7) I prefer 11.5
There are multiple configurations of claymore, there is completely your choice, I chose the simplest and it works without any problem.
"EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.NAME -epsw x"

FINALLY EXECUTE START
MINING TO 31.3 MH / s

NOTE: OBVIOUSLY FIRST THERE MUST BE INSTALLED A MOD BIOS FOR THE MSI RX-580 8GB OR ANYTHING WHICH IS YOUR GRAPHIC CARD MARKS.
NOTE 2: FORGIVENESS FOR MY ENGLISH IS VERY BASIC.

GREETINGS FROM CHILE !!!

Tried everything without succes..

Only thing that i find which i find weird is that, it runs like 22.5mhz at 2000mhz, but even a slight increase like 2100 lowers to 19mhz?
Could that have to do with anything ? it seems the card doens't want to go above 2000?

You need to biosmod the video cards to reach 28mh/s~31mh/s.
Looks like 22mh/s are stock cards without biosmod.

Anyway you need to fine tune some settings too, like compute mode(windows) and some settings at miner.

OP said that card has modded:

Also flashed the bios the same as the 28 mhz ones, and still 22mhz.

Have you tried to run this card alone? As the only one card that plugged. Try with several drivers version, apply all of Ati patcher features (driver signature, refresh rate, etc.). Re-mod that card, give a try with massive OC nor Underclock it to the deep, see how that will affect the card performance.
