Do you find Success in Gambling?

There's no success in gambling. You just got lucky in a a very short time and then lose afterwards. I have lost alot many times in gambling and until now I still gamble a few times but i dont bet big amount, it's just like gambling for fun, I dont want to be broke just by losing all my money in gambling.

Yeah you are right there is no success in gambling. It is a bad thing and a bad thing has always bad results. Success means that you win some money, but after a while you will lose again and if you observe the consequences it is always worst. Nobody can make money in gambling. All the gamblers I have seen have lost everything in gambling even respect.

After a long time something good is here to read. Yeah, gambling isn’t suitable. Why are we against it, rather I must question it like this. Why some of us are against it and why others are advising to adopt this game? I think we know the destruction that gambling made in lives of our brothers. They are totally ruthless and become miserable in their living styles.

I really wouldn't say "human race" because gamblers doesn't take up the whole human race. Gamblers are actually aware of the harms that the game can do to them and they probably are seeing it slowly changing their lives. They know most than all of us. They are the ones most aware of these. But, they choose to turn a blind eye to it just so they would not be guilty when they are gambling. There are only 3 reasons I know why people continuously gamble despite all of his losses:
1. He doesn't know any other forms of entertainment. - This is very hard because as humans, we need to be entertained during our free times. We get bored so easily. This is even harder when his friends are also gambling. It becomes a form of entertainment and a way to socialize.
2. He doesn't have anything better to do. - It's a Friday night, everyone's asleep, and you can't sleep. What do you do? You gamble because you don't have anything else to do such as reading, do taxes, etc. Of course you can always find better things to do, but why so? When your gambler mind can just.. gamble.
3. Gambling is a form of escape to him and this is the only way he knows how to cope with stress. - Honestly that one reason that makes you shut down everything and just gamble. You do not care about the losses, you do not care about anything else. You just want to gamble just to get rid of this stress. Why? Because it's the way of coping that you've had for a long time.

The reason why people consider gambling as a source of income even when ironically it makes them lose money is because they have seen people left the casino with tons of money. And so they gambling continuously in hopes that one day they will be just like that person. If not today, maybe tomorrow. Then the cycle repeats.

This is the bad thing about gambling. Everytime we lose, we always hope for a success the next time that we gamble again to cover up what we had lost the last time and by then we didn’t notice that we are addicted by chasing that little hope. And then too late to realized that we almost lose it all then there comes the regrets. Its not bad to gamble anyway, just to entertain ourselves but we need to put limitations and stick to the limit and don’t go beyond.

I totally agree.You could only find success in gambling if you're having fun from it and not losing big amount of money.It's okay to gamble as long as you only gamble what you can afford to lose.While others find success in gambling because they can easily get quick profit,but in my own opinion,success is not found in gambling,it's in ourselves on how we control our finances and set limitations when it comes to gambling.

I haven't heard people who became successful because of gambling. I only heard negative effects of gambling to those gamblers. Worst is others committed suicide because of bankruptcy. A person who don't know or can't control their emotions must avoid gambling, or else you'll going to regret it for the rest of your life.

You might be right but I want you to know we have see a lot of success story through gambling been posted on buddy. However, those that doesn't made amazing and classy result in the past definitely don't know the type of gamble/betting that goes well for them. Sometimes, I find success in gambling but not always. Since gambling is based on pure luck, success in not guaranteed. Among the gambling games I've played over time, I've found out that Dice has been the most successful for me. It is highly unlikely that anyone can find a partner to start a bitcoin (well crypto in general) gambling casino from a bitcointalk topic. It requires too many stuff that would be needed to actually start from security to development to marketing to god knows what else, just too much money and trust required to start it at all. I really doubt anyone here talking about how casinos make money can actually make profits from owning a casino.

Back to the original point, you can't expect big wins like the initial message said, like "if everything is done wisely, then on gambling you can make money". That can't be any farther from truth, don't let people like this cause you to gamble your money away, gambling is LUCK based game and the house edge allows house to always win in the long run, there is no other way to win in gambling than being LUCKY, that's all. Really? Most of the people gamble to do it for fun? To be entertained? To earn good luck? No. They are there since earning money on gambling is easy. You bet your money on gambling, you depend or rely on your luck that you might not know if you are or not all you need to do is to win and earn money that don't really happen most of the time. You can't be successful on gambling, there are times that people are but not all of the people or gamblers will be the same.

People here may be against bitcoin because they have already most a lot of money in gambling, in fact they do not have any sound strategy and planning for gambling therefore they are not making money from there, I do not think that those people who play gambling with some strategy may be against bitcoin, they know the right time and amount of money to play gambling with.

That is the main part of the game. Either you win or you lose and most times you are losing anyway unless you get so lucky. Losing is not even a problem as long as you have been able to wrap your mind around that before even making any attempt to do so; it only becomes a problem for those who are really trying by all means to want to win at all cost. The meaning of success from gambling must be differing among gamblers as I am a gambler and I am finding myself as a successful gambler even I am not making any returns from my gambling in last 5 years. I agree with you. gambling cannot be a way to find success and we know that gambling is for getting fun playing the game and we can meet many people that enjoy playing the game. maybe we can have a big luck in the gambling game but this will not stay with us for a long time and we should know this too. we can get success in the other fields or jobs and not in gambling because for most people, they only risk their money and spend money to try making money which they cannot do this.

When you are concentrating on winning, you get emotional and even when you are losing, you keep losing so much more that controlling yourself will be something hard to do and that also comes with winning as you will want to keep pushing your luck further until you are back to base.

I think you mean past time because fast time is not really a thing because time is constant. I think you can never become successful until you become a professional player just like other poker players out there.
