Follow the world economy, when world economy coming down Bitcoin rises and vice verse. Note that Jan-14 the economy was glad of an oil rise and other details. Bitcoin is a place where investors go when the economy is bad, but fled as soon as the economy improves.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Interestingly, this topic was written back in January 2016, that is, almost three years ago. Even then, Bitcoin was periodically declared dead. It turns out that for so many years we have already been using the dead bitcoin. And while he lives and is not going to die. True, if for some time it will not scale and generally improve technically, then everything can be. The market makes no exception for anyone.

I politely disagree with the OP (I know its an old thread  Grin). The mass media has been in the past and will continue to be used in the future to manipulate retail investors. If the mass media is heavily bearish, it could potentially signal to you to watch for interesting entries. Let's not forget how bullish mass media was in December and January – at the absolute highs of BTC.

In regards to bitcoin classic, later on we had similar discussions when BCH was around the corner? Not much happened as well.

Bitcoin will not die in close 10 years, its a fact.
What currency do darknet buyers/sellers use for their deals? Bitcoin - in most cases.

I never believed in billionaires or economists. They only give the views of pessimists. I know Bitcoin is being exploited by many organizations but the money is always full. So how could it die when it was serving a lot of different jobs? Trusting in this news just makes you feel stupid.

I do not think that bitcoin will die. The number of users is always increasing, regardless of how much it costs. Bitcoin user ratings and Bitcoin usage show a constant upward trend, regardless of the ups and downs, like any kind of work. New technology. Admittedly, the recent decline in volume is significant. However, part of that may be due to the increasing practicality of transaction batching, which reduces the overall volume of transactions.

It's very funny how they will try every means possible to bring bitcoin down so that they can promote their shit versions of bitcoin which has poor security systems and technology. Well they can continue with the FUD but one thing is for sure, bitcoin is very strong and it will not die.
