I really like the idea of this platform.
Is there a new mining guide for the fork?

Thanks! Very interesting.
So Shards work like your own personal fork of Tera sort of? Where you can change some of the rules or code?
I'm quite basic when it comes to coin coding so this is new to me.

one shard - 1000 tps
two  shards  - 2000 tps
more shard  - more tps...
The number of shards can be unlimited, since shards are connected to each other directly, and security is provided by merged mining.

what is merged mining? how is different from normal tera mining?

This is an opportunity to use a max hash (hash leader) for two or more blockchains. This allows you to mine multiple blockchains without increasing the power of the hardware responsible for finding the maximum hash.
The same Tera algorithm is used for mining. It was originally designed for such mining.
Now when mining, you specify the number to receive the reward. If the number matches in different blockchains, you can mine several blockchains at once. The number is either an account number (less than 10 characters) or a 10-digit Advanced miner ID.
If we go into more detail: these numbers are used to create tables in memory that are used to search for a hash for a new block. The search itself takes almost no time, so the same table can be used for hundreds of blockchains.
Example set Adv miner ID:

Hello everyone, the new version 2468 has been pushed  to the network. It includes support for sharding, which will be launched starting from 68.5 million blocks (i.e. December 25, 2020). Please have time to update the nodes before the specified date. The update is required.

Added new features for creating Dapps, more details here:

What is the best method to update from a previous version? I'm still on the previous version.
I found the update.js and ran that and it seems to be good.
Any other steps beyond restarting the computer after using that script?

Seems to be taking a long time to syncronize as well, and the jinn-db.zip also takes quite some time as it averages 2.5MBps

I got it synced up, but I see a lot of this error:

block num for reward
16:53:12.353 TX: THROW on Block=69014662 TxNum=0 : Bad block num for reward
16:53:12.354 TX: THROW on Block=69014662 TxNum=1 : Bad block num for reward
16:53:16.101 =============== DeltaStat: 1601 ms  !!!!
16:53:18.430 TX: SumHash:DeleteTX on Block=69014663
16:53:24.500 TX: SumHash:DeleteTX on Block=69014665
16:53:24.517 TX: THROW on Block=69014666 TxNum=0 : Bad block num for reward
----

Does that mean I have something setup wrong?
