"big people" in crypto say insane things to pump the prices. This is a common thing in business, people have incentives. Anyone predicting bitcoin to go to 50k is insane. Yeah, it could reach that someday, but no one knows right now with the current market. It is just useless guessing, but as time goes on and it becomes more adoptive it will seem more legitimate to call it out. Right now it is people just talking out of their ass, as new information comes out you can reevaluate. If the market can pick up then it will be more reasonable to call $50k.

there were lots of news regarding bitcoin price, we dont know what news we will believed in, some says bitcoin will go 6k below and it will die some says it will pump so maybe it is better for us to go with the flow because we dont have control to the price.

I am confused, because some people are happy when bitcoin falls and hopes to fall more from the moment. but there are also some people who think that bitcoin can reach ATH and can even exceed it.

Okay let's see and i guess it will not happen after ETF. As far as i know that even the total supply of bitcoin will have reached 21 million bitcoins in the circulation and it will not make the price of bitcoin more than 50k. It doesn't even the old ATH and that's the fact,

I think that ETF is a very small part of the game only. Moreover, I don't think that the proposal by Van Eck and SolidX Partners will be approved by SEC to list a and trade bitcoin shares backed by them. It's great if BTC can sit at $50k by the end of this year, but it depends on many factors and ETF is just a small part of them.

This is a very optimistic assessment of the future bitcoin price.
Just after the last few weeks, i find it hard to believe in it.
I'm curious if the forecast arrives and will follow this thread.

Talk about optimism, I really would like that to happen but as far as I'm concern it is out of bound in a price speculation because usually when predicting bitcoin value you'll go for triple and decide of which month it will happen but since you go over a 9x the current price I doubt that your speculation would be true, I know it is a possibility but not this year I really don't think it can happen.

You are too optimistic. This year is a red year after the growth of last year. It will need a lot more time to attract more investors.

Interesting thread to predict the value of BTC to $50k which is really very hard to accomplish. But my guess right now is that it will not reach on that even in the few years since the market is very unstable now and need more actions to gain confidence for the investors.

Anything can happen in crypto... was last year motto.
the volatility that made us cheer certain cryptos is now making us boo some while clinging to blind optimism for others.
And like someone said before, there's not an unbiased opinion/speculation/fud in crypto. Everybody have their own personal agenda and when you boil it to to profits, you start to understand the lengths many will go to sell high and buy low

I would lower my expectations a little bit, I think 50k sounds like "too much". The approval of ETF would definitely make the price skyrocket in no time thanks to massive influx of capital from investors who will feel a lot more confident to invest in the crypto market, this could possibly trigger a new FOMO wave, if there's enough momentum then we could see a massive spike in the price...but I hardly doubt we'll see 50k, IMO we would need something more see such price target.

Maybe not quite $50k, but I certainly can see around $20k again. Fear of missing out is an amazing thing. I've seen it take total crap coins and pump the price up to outrageous prices just because hype was being built up around it. That being said, I wouldn't rule $50k out either.

Will wait for 2 months from now and see if those predictions are going to be accurate and correct.
If those predictions that bitcoin will reach $30,000 - $50,000 for this year I'll start believing to those people.
It may look impossible now because the price isn't so perfect to assume those prices.

Well, firstly no one can know how much bitcoin will cost, even famous personalities in cryptography. Secondly, the crypto market is so unpredictable that in six months, bitcoin can cost 50,000, and 500 can.
