Hi Miners,

I am fairly new to the mining world an i'm sure many have asked you this question before. I would like to know what to mine and weather I should mine privately or through a pool.

I have the below setup at the moment:

1x HTC110 Board
128GB SSD
4GB
2 x 750W PSU
7 X 1080 GPU.
I am mining through Nice Has but its really not making me anything. I'm doing about $5-6 a day which doesn't really seem correct.

I currently have a plan to buy 6 more 1080 and complete my rig.

Just looking for recommendations on what to mine and what software to use to get maximum potential. How much can i expect from a 13 1080 Rig.

With your amount of hashing power I should mine on a pool.

there is something wrong... you should mine on a pool and look at whattomine.com to see which is the best coin to mine for your hardware... not every gpu is suited best for every coin, as some cards perform best on some algos and this can maximize your earnings.

You can also use the eth enchanger to pimp your cards so they perform a lot better on dagger hashimoto and then you can burst your earnings by 30% afaik... but take my advice and dont mine on nicehash but rather mine to your own wallet on a pool... makes more sense tho...

OP doesn't mine with the mobile phone but he/she uses the GPUs.

How much can i expect from a 13 1080 Rig.

every miner can't determine how much will be earned because the coin price may change and I think whattomine better than the miners predicted.

I think you're going the wrong way. Why do you need to make more GPU per rig? This makes your system more unstable. In case of any problem with the software or equipment you will be stopped 13 GPU. Do you need such problems? It seems to me that the optimal amount of GPU per rig should be no more than 6 PCs.

You can also check https://www.coincalculators.io since there are some coins that still aren't listed on whattomine and you could earn more by mining those coins while difficulty is low.

I would go with 8 gpus per rig.  I got very stable rigs with 8 gpus. Runing for months with no issues

Your dollars per day seems about right. The market right now is very very bad. High hashrates combined with low prices = disaster for miners like us. Either you just need to wait it out and keep mining, or sell all your gear and cut losses.
