Do you believe that's fair? Before the rules members have got the rank according to the number of posts. No matter the posts were resourceful or not.

I don't think it's perfectly fair per se, but I don't think it's unfair either. It's simply just a first move advantage for the older folks. It would be far worse if they just did a reset and brought back every single one to a Newbie rank. The people who've been here for years deserve maintaining their ranks for sure(well, besides the spammers of course).

I am not against this rule but getting merit is like something luck now a days. Sometimes quality posts don't help getting merits.
