Please Help me transfer the full amount from my wallet backup to Blockchain.info

Hi I recently imported a wallet to blockchain wallet from a backup, the wallet and everything shows up and everything but since the imported wallet is not protected by the backup phrase and not as secure as if the funds were directly imported into blockchains "My Wallet", when I try to send the total amount in my imported wallet to the blockchains "my wallet" it only allows me to transfer partial funds and not the whole amount even with the blockchain transaction fee deducted and set to regular the numbers don't add up, I have 4.56093409 in my imported wallet and with the fee of 0.0015431 it should allow me to send 4.55939099 however it only allows me to send something like 3.4889... so what do I do? also same thing happens when I try to transfer the funds to "my wallet" from under my security and addresses tab. Please help Thank you

Was this a Blockchain.info wallet backup? Or you imported your wallet private key?

Try to export your private keys[1] and import them in a different wallet like Electrum.

It was a backup of the Blockchain.info wallet, I will try to export the privat keys and try to import them in electrum, I will keep you posted and let you know if that worked

Since you have to pay a high fee, I think your transaction is just too big. I don't know what exact limits blockchain.info uses, but assuming 2 sat/byte, your transaction would be over 75 kB already.
Did you collect many small amounts in the past? If so, you have many different inputs now, which results in a large transaction.

If this is the cause, the solution is very simple: consolidate your funds: just send 3.4889... to one of your own addresses, and once it confirms send your total to wherever you want it to be.

On a side note: keeping $29k in an online wallet is not recommended. Cold storage or a hardware wallet would be better, but before doing so, make sure you know what you're doing.

You might be able to achieve what you want to do via omniwallet.org. Follow this guide if you will use omniwallet.org to transfer the full amount from your wallet backup to blockchain.info. You can also do it on other wallets by using the same method of generating your private key using bip39 generator, then simply import it into any wallets and after doing so, you might want to transfer it to hardware wallets for better security.

Blockchain.info sucks, also your private keys should be considered already compromised because they weren't created in an airgapped, cold storaged environment. You have enough BTC to start putting more time and resources into security. The more BTC you have the more time and resources you should allocate into protecting them. Electrum is still not safe if your computer is going to have an ethernet card installed. So what you need to do is create new private addresses in a cold storage environment and then send your coins there with regular transactions, do not import them. Use https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ to pay as little as possible, 1-2 sats should do for now.
