Everything will depend on the general development of the crypto-currency market. If the market is waiting for development, it needs advertising. It follows that companies will use generosity to promote their product. If the market does not develop, no one will need advertising. And the company of generosity will not be interesting. I think that bounties will not be needed in 2020. Hopefully by then ICO will have some regulations to them, to help prevent investors from being scammed and to bring some trust to the ICO market. I speculate that the market might be saturated at that time. Actually ICO's now are just a copy-cat of other projects, some just put a little spin on and call it their own. So pretty much everything has been created and there might be a time when the market cannot move forward anymore causing bounties to not give the opportunity that you are looking for in 2020. Plus the market is slowly maturating as well, investors no longer looking for a simply profit and go on the next ICO's that can possibly give them huge money. Perhaps ICO's that are going to survived and live long tend to be very useful after all.

I do not think this will be the case because more coins will keep opening for investors and they would need campaign.

On the contrary, even if there is a restriction for new coins,  the existing coins would also need to publicize their coins more to get a better chance with investors. We have some old coins who have held campaigns, for instance, byteball,  bca etc.

It's not the matter of earning in bounties but the matter of having ICO bounties that really worth it. When ICOs started years ago,  it was really worth  it and then almost all the ICOs created were really aiming to solve one problem or the another. But now,  almost all ICOs that are created are all shitty and  are a repetition of what has already been done. By 2020, maybe the number of shit coin being produced might increase or probably decrease cause of regulation. Time will tell.

from the recent trend, as soon the bull run arrives, the icos will pop up, with that no. of bounty projects will increase with that no. of bounty hunters will increase, its highly unlikely that we will see less no. of bounty hunters until we have a lasting bear market. bear markets are good for thinning the herd. also it is the bear market where tech develops at more faster way not the other way around because of the less noise.
