Ree has awesome history, here the true:

Ree has an interesting story, this current team is the 3rd team working on the coin. The original dev, that Kris person, created the first version of Ree, which is listed in Yobit. However, the guy disappeared and has been gone since early 2017 I believe. After he left, another guy picked up the project, his "name" is Reedev. Reedev forked the coin, so there are 2 Ree chains, and he got an investor that paid for listing the 2nd chain in LiveCoin. In September Reedev promised "big changes" and disappeared.

After many months of uncertainty regarding the Ree project, and it pretty much being considered dead and a complete scam, this current new team appeared and decided to take matter into their own hands. They had no obstacles until a couple of weeks ago, when this group started to get a LOT of attention, and then some guy, claiming to represent the original dev named Kris (so it's not even that Kris person) appeared out of nowhere to reclaim the project. - This is stupid for many reasons:

a) the project that the original dev worked on is long dead, it was forked and he holds the majority of coins (6 out 7 billion) - it would be insane to trust/invest in them;

b) they did not list Ree on LiveCoin, they can't really say anything about it because it's not their battle;

c) it's an open source project, if you abandon the project, chances are someone is gonna fork it to save it, specially if that someone invested money in it.

My honest opinion is that the guy representing Kris, saw the attention, remembered he had some Ree, and saw an easy way to make money.
