Short term vs. Long term investments

I prefer long term holding but if you're holding the right coin. It all depends on that, no one can really predict the future it needs some luck too. But on long term most often has bigger profits.

As the market has been constantly dropping, so short-term investment wouldn't be profitable for the time being. You have to go for long-term investment and hold your coin, it will be more profitable when the market goes in upward trend.

The whales mostly did against the market trend, when they seen potentials they will keep shaking they are responsible of this unpredictable pumped and dumped, there's no other choice aside from having a lots of time and keep observing the movements or do the long term hold where you will just place your selling points and forget about your investment, you have to analyze well before you decide if which strategy to use with this current market.

For me, bitcoin, and the only strategy which is more profitable is long term buy and hold, if your new in crypto it is not advisable to do short term unless your expert enough to trade ,btc has become tradeable instrument offering lucrative return,trading is very risky that needs patience and discipline.

It depends on your ability, mate, if you have the ability of a good trader and you're willing to take more risk, you can do short term trading (day trading), but if you don't, then long-term trading is the best for you. Don't force your self into things that you can't do, because it can cause your failure.

Both of them are profitable but the thing is you have to select right coins for the investment when you go for the short and long terms.

For example, with my experience XRP, XVG, TRX these are kind of coins which keeps hyping lot of time in very short period of time. There highs and lows are already defined and my observation that they never go beyond that one. So I always use them for the short term (Swing trade) and get some bucks over the time.

On the other hand you can generally get huge profits (more than short one) with long term holding because in that your coins get hiked a lot. (Could be 10x or more). For example, BTC, ETH, EOS, LTC these are the coins made for such hikes in long terms. So its all about how you choose the coins.

I would prefer a long term investment because I believe that though it, we would be able to maximize our gain. We might be needed to spend time in waiting but I think that the rewarda in time is all worth it. I would also prefer to hodl bitcoin and ethereum because these has proven me a lot already.

I am not a day trader actually, I just see the condition of the market if it is possible to do trading and my desire is want to trading so I will do it. But if the market doesn't support to do trading I will hold my assets that I have for long term investment. Sometimes I do trading when a lot of information that states bitcoin prices will decrease, then I will quickly sell it. Long term investment or short term investment has advantages and disadventages and both will give you profit if you are good at managing it.

Based on my experience in trading, short term is more profitable than long term because you can get profits everyday depending on the rise and fall of the coins you are inbesting. But I preferred long term investments than short term because it fits my weekly schedule and it is not a hassle on my part.

Both are source of earning profit and getting income but we should choose the one that we are good at, so bitcoin is low in price so I think we should chose long term investment, buy now and selling again is not a good source of being rich so instead thinking about day trading at beginning, because it needs a lot of money, knowledge and skills without all this you can’t get success in day trading, so better choose long term trading which is safe and highly profit making resource.

Long term investment is simply HODLING. Hodling is buying bitcoins and then holding for a very long time for the price to increase so that you can make profits.
Short term investment on the other hand simply trading. Trading is just like hodling only that it is buying and selling to make profits within a very short period of time. It is simply taking advantage of any slight change in the price of bitcoin within very short period of time.

I'm always long with cryptos simply because I don't buy coins that I don't believe in. Frankly, I also have trouble selling the ones I got by accident. I knew I should've sold all my BCH and BTG, but I wanted to have some just in case, which was stupid as I 've never believed in them.
Summing up, long is the best strategy. Shorting is much harder in a growing and developing market like this one, can be seen as swimming against the current.

Both are good for specific people. Long-term investment is better for those people who can't trade perfectly or who haven't enough time to trade. Though everyone holds some good crypto coin for a long time. If you are in good in trade then I would suggest you do short-term investment and keep doing the trade. I want to mention here the Specific Short-term investment period, It should Almost 6 Months. But few potential coins like bitcoin, Ethgerem, NEO, EOS will be good for a long-term investment. I think this is depend on the times and skill that you have to manage that your investment. If you can spend only 1 or 2 hours to make analysis the market, so for the better make invest by long term, but if you can spend more times to trade its much better doing short trade to maximum the profit. For long term investment is you will make profit in a year, but in short trade will possible to make profit in monthly.
