I have checked some pages of this thread and I now know what happened in last 10 days or so. There are no major events. But it seems team extended ICO end date.

Now almost all projects extend the dates of the ICO. Everyone hopes that the green market will come, and the money will flow like a river))

Lol I’m being pretty patient I kind of like the stability that seems to be developing on the market I mean the current rates seem pretty solid to me

So what exactly last date of ICO now? They given any reason that why they want to postpone ICO?

That's may be true but in this bear market investors have opportunity to get ETH/BTC in cheap price and invest in ICO. That's my personal opinion.

Investment goes in different ways. Some will want to hold the eth or btc as it will likely yield more profit than investing in ICO, that is for those who invest for profits though.

I have to tend to agree with this. I can see both sides of it personally and you have to remember not everyone trades on the same strategy.

For those who were wondering why Manila and the 3000 cabs. The reason they chose Manila is because of the potential it has and all the taxi drivers signed own their own cabs and are officially registered as cab drivers in the Philippines. They do not sign non official drivers.

That's true. I'm from Manila Philippines and we have a lot of cabs and taxi drivers here that they can hired for their services. Most of us also really like using these kinds of apps like to ubers and other similar companies.

That's really nice to see that Tachain wants to go with only registered drivers. But many other countries also do verification of drivers. So there must be some other benefits as well.

Most platforms use verification, that’s alroght, but the rating system of TAChain seems more important to taxi users. I get to choose what taxi driver is the best available while the drivers would take care of the users to get a better rating.

Yes but according to the whitepaper the driver can also rate the passenger and that should be there too as some passengers can really be a pain.

I think that's not a good idea. It can quickly happen that you have a conflict with a driver, because he drives a detour. Then you get a bad rating (the driver, of course) and you already have disadvantages in the next bookings. I am not a friend of such rating systems

Yes I agree with you, I think the passenger rating for it's not quite efficiently, if there are many passengers who have a rating that is not good enough then no driver that wants to take them. I think the assessment is only to be given on the service provider.

The passenger is the one who pays the money right? the passenger is the customer also right? I haven't seen any business that run with the model Tachain is proposing where customers get ratings which serves no purpose IMO

Maybe the passengers and drivers can create different reputations based on what each other put on their. For example the passenger rate ng driver really good and the drivers rate the passenger too. So next time if other drivers or passengers will going to use the service they will see the drivers or passenger reputation from his/her previous used.

Markets are poor and investors are being conservative with their money, it could take considerably longer for the team to raise a sufficient amount to develop the project comfortably. This is why they have extended it to 31st December.

Many projects are currently running until December 31st. But there are not many investors right now. Of course, that means that not many of these ICOs will survive until the end of the year. But I am confident that Tachain will be successful in finding enough investors

Yeah I think a lot of these projects are going to have to close up in December unless Santa brings them a big old sack of money!

It's android thats delayed due to internal reasons according to what i've read, the team has chimed in a few times that they are actively working to resolve the problems and get things working as quickly as possible, but they don't want to release a lemon XD

Well, in the end everybody have their different opinion. Though I think the Tachain team thought this out carefully. It will be nice to actually get an official response on the subject matter.

yeah, investing in an ICO is usually not an easy decision most especially right now that the market is in total turmoil. the team needs to do a lot of work to convince investors

Getting to the hardcap would be a hell of a milestone, I’m hoping they can pull it off but even if they don’t I think the teams raising a good bit and is moving so quickly that I think they will be successful in the longrun

Getting there will definitely be a huge achievement for the team and project as well as a source of confidence for the community. With the state of market presently, it won't be an easy task though.

It's really not an easy task to accomplish, they just need to put in their best and i like the fact that they are proactive with their implementations which is a good thing, as that will instill confidence in the community as oppose to when they just have to wait till the needed fund is required which can be dangerous at this specific point in time

I think this is good decision by Tachain,  current crypto market is not good yet they managed to reach softcap. In good market condition it could have been reached hardcap also.

Agree. People like crypto because it's decentralized. But for now they are not investing in crypto because it's not managed properly or need some regulations,  means again crypto in hand of central authority??
