Merits are like the stars. Seems unreachable. Even how many times i tried, seem so impossible to have them.

How can you get Merit?
➡ Create a quality content/post.
You will get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts.

Here's the problem, im not a good writer.
Constructing a good and quality content/post is so hard for me, and maybe not only me, a lot of our brothers here are struggling to have a merit because of the same problem. Even though you tried sometimes to create one. Still not enough to be merited by others.
i had been on crypto for awhile now and i can say that i learn a lot about crypto on this forum. Is there no other way to earn this merit?
There are hunters out there that is very active on this forum, helping startups/ico in marketing on social media, not spamming on every thread, contributing by comment/suggestion on other members. Dont they deserved to rankup and earn more like others do? Lucky those who ranked before the merit system occured.
Then post in your local board and seek Merit where the quality of your posts will earn Merit. If you have truly learned anything about crypto you will be able to have conversations with people, should you make a good point or provide insight maybe you'll get some Merit.

No These "marketers", "contibuters", and "helpers" of ICO's that you speak of are the problem. Let's not sugarcoat their title, bounty hunter spammers. They do not contibute to this forum in a positive way, they are here to earn money. They can do it elsewhere.
They say that merits are for those who create a quality content for the forum, how about those who dont have a talent to make one but a good and a quality member of this forum.
They don't deserve anything.
This forum should not only focus the ranking of a member base on the content that they can contribute, but also on how they behave and how active they are as a hunter and as a member of this forum.

Oh my you mean that in the future ranks, and merit numbers will mean something. Maybe even help to recognize a helpful maybe even knowledgeable member? Why would we ever want that.

We are judging people on their ability to put together a coherent post, that is on topic, and not a rehash of everything previously said. If this bar is to high, then maybe they should belive they are stupid... oh wait they won't because they are not here trying to learn or prove themselves.
