Btw.. what is up with the subject errors with every post.. ? yes - it's because the OP topic line is too long - I have to go up and delete a few chars - like the heart and the star icons so total chars gets below 80.. The vertcoin miner doesn't display temperatures correctly, so you need to increase your fanspeed to at least 20% to make up for the error, otherwise your cards will burn out in 72 hours. I.e. if the miner is showing 70c, the temp is actually 90c. If you can, run your fan at 90-100% to stay safe. I mined vertcoin for the first week of release and I faced the consequences because the vertcoin miner is unreliable.  At least I've learnt my lesson. All my temps are accurate and I'm running five 290's. I've been using 0.5.2 and now 0.5.3 |
