What things affect btc prices?  News?  Exchanges that go down?  Adoption from big companies/nation like overstock or china?

What would cause btc to go down or up substantially (back to 1k or higher)
What causes it to go down? (russia banning etc)

Would disasters cause any change in btc?
Thoughts appreciated

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

the biggest thing that affects the price of BTC is simply the number of users that every day decide to join BTC. More users more buy orders.

Negative news seems to affect the price a lot. Gives it the biggest swings. Bbbb.
