Block the topic as the original topic was already nuked and this one is attracting bot accounts.

Bitre Mining is just an ERC20 token that doesn't do anything. They are promoting their airdrop using a Bot farm.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4587890.0

There is a lot of newbie accounts just posting stupid phrases that don't mean anything as there is not a project to be discussed.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

This is not a scam accusation, move it to meta.

Report the thread(if you haven't already) and the thread started would be banned and the bots would be nuked.

Done. Could you suggest a topic where people are collecting this kind of activity from bot farms? I didn't find any, but I remember that I have read one.

this is an awesome project

This is increasingly becoming a problem here on the forum, more and more ICOs, even legit ones are resorting to these 'Guerilla' marketing tactics.

I think that those offering these services should be tagged, almost everyone offering Guerilla marketing services is actually offering deceptive marketing, tricking investors into thinking that there is hype or buzz around the project, when in reality they're obviously likely to fail. Even projects that don't need this hype tend to fail in the long run, it really is a risky market to invest right now.

I think no project in their right mind will use it. Even if they are legit, they are unethical, right? It would be hard to not question their legitimacy and be confident in a project using such practice. I'm even thinking that leaving a few trace of these spams in a project's announcement thread would be a good idea for those who are researching that project.

Yup, this thread seems to be triggering the very spambot it's complaining about. Cheesy

Hmm... the original thread was nuked and now all the homeless bots are coming here to ply their shitposting trade? Sure looks like it...  Undecided
