My question is, how do i "embedd" the gif in the bitcointalk post? I tried quoting someone who posted a gift, but it just won't show, i linked the gif in the [img] tags, but it's not working... Is there something else you have to do?

bitcointalk doesn't support image embedding. You can post it to some Image upload sites (such as tinypic or imagebb) and then paste the mark-down link of it here.

The comment below you can help you. You will need image host site for that. Tinypic, imgurl and imagebb. You'll need to upload the GIF file there and simply copy the bbcode image and post it on bitcointalk forum. Voila! You've just post a GIF on the forum. I just learned about it recently. You can also make your own signature on your profile. But its not simple to do. It needed codes also.

Update: if the gif is too long/big imgur automatically converts it into .mp4 and that doesn't work
|

Well it's true that bitcointalk dosen't support image embedding but you can use imgurl and there are a few more on which you can upload the image and share the link here between " [img ]http://link[/img] " and that will work for sure. Good luck  |
