Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper
ICO without a whitepaper is a scam. Infact even if they have a whitepaper it could still be a scam because whitepaper is easy to produce. Always check the credibility of the team because they are the one who run the project and not the whitepaper.
Community tend to judge the legitimacy of a project simply by how serious they are. There's so many project out there that left emptiness and gap that connects them to the community and that's unworthy of a project.
A project that legit I think is those project that have complete technical detail about the project and supportive developers aswell.

Investing in an ICO or a project that does not have a  whitepaper might be very risky because there no other place to get the full information about the project, the team, roadmap, details about the main aim of the project.

yes, if the ICO without the white paper we will not be directed and understand a project. with White paper which contains information about the project background, objectives, and overall details about the startup project. Simply put, the ICO Whitepaper can also provide a clear and complete picture of the project to be run. After the coin cap period is over, all the money collected will be counted.

An ICO without a white paper is like a project without a clear direction and purpose, which I doubt.

We can judge an ICO by reading the entire white paper, which I think is very important for its use.

Yeah, I agree with you. How could we know the project in detail (the team, the purpose, etc) without a whitepaper? It looks like we are buying a cat in a sack, we don't know what is inside, whether it's good or not. As you say, it's too risky to invest in a project like that. We have to be careful in choosing a project to join in.

For ICO projects, Whitepaper is always something to make clear. ICO projects need to have at least one whitepaper that can indicate to investors that they can make an investment decision or not. And those ICO projects that do not own Whitepaper, I think, are Scam projects

No white paper? Such projects can only be defined by scams. This scam is like a policeman who catches people but doesn't have a police card. Why can't a project with a white paper actually launch ICO? Are they relying on the courage God has given them?

An ICO without a whitepaper is fairly suspicious. Whitepaper is the substance of the ICO, it presents the battle, the undertaking and the substance of an ICO to the financial specialists. So an ICO without whitepaper ought not be trusted.

Almost all ICO must have official reports to assess quality. And there are also many ICO whose official reports can still be an ICO scam. Most of us will feel confident if the ICO project website is designed professionally. However, this is the point where many projects are easy to create confidence because they can now hire a team of professional designers to prepare for a ... spectacular scam!

scammers can do it with all documents and technical documents. Its availability does not give a 100% guarantee that the project is not scammers

My view that ICO without White Paper it is very strange and I think that it is scam in 95% of cases. And 5% it is the cases when ICO have strong reason to go live without White Paper.

i can easily say that if an ico doesnt have a whitepaper it is 99% a scam. sometimes they announce the ico but at that time they start preparing the whitepaper. in this case it may be acceptable but they should issue a whitepaper before announcing the crowdsale dates.

I'm completely agree with you. Its actually hard to believe in the ICO without the white paper. As you know, It would provide us enough information about the project such as the dev team, the road map, the main goal of that project. There is a lot of scam ICO in the crypto market now. The investors will be doubt for investing in the ICO without WP. In my opinion, the potential project should have WP to be trusted from the people who want to invest in.

The whitepaper is very important for a good project. But many projects do not contain any whitepaper, which means that the project is a scam project. For this, if this type of projects offer any bounty, then I think it is the best decision not to participate .

ICO without whitepaper? I have never think about that, it is impossible. Let's image ICO like a book, so white paper is the content of that book. It contains the idea, technical, coding, ... - everything about that project. Without whitepaper, ICO just a name - no more

I will not trust that kind of ICO I preferred to invest with well detailed concept and plan. That's why I had chosen Swachhcoin as my first investment in ICO. Their concept is realistic and well planned.

I think ICO without whitepaper is fraud. Because for me whitepapers are very important. From the whitepaper we can analyze whether the project is fraud or not. I think the success of the project is also determined by the whitepaper.
