Your btc account isnt valid collateral, cash isnt valid collateral either and for the bitcoin one I dont believe that would even be considered as valid collateral. Since you have cash, why dont you go to an exchange like coinbase and buy bitcoin with that?

But to make this short, a valid and reasonable collateral will end the story. Your bitcointalk account is not a valid collateral. Your offered altcoin doesn't have a good volume. If you can provide that I even willing to fill up this loan.

Considering the fact that the collateral doesn't even amount to half the requested amount (going off stocks.exchange we have the highest buy listing @ 55 satoshi and it's not even 8000 BTCONE) it doesn't provide any security at all. The coin is difficult to liquidate if there's a price drop (since there's low volume and you'll have more volatility) as well.

I don't consider accounts to be worth anything so don't offer those. If there's other collateral then you should offer it. Did you have a specific reason for the loan?

People should really consider game theory when offering insane interest rates such as this. If you have enough collateral to cover the loan, then it is probably best just to sell it to get the funds you require. Of course, this can bite you in the ass if the price increases and you have to buy back at a loss, but you are offering 40%. That means in order for this to be a good decision the value of the collateral must increase above 40%, otherwise you would be better off just buying it back vs. paying that kind of interest.

Of course, the price can also go down, allowing you to buy back in with profit, so locking in a loss of 40% is clearly bad bet when you consider that possibility. But when you increase the interest to 80%, after your offer is dismissed, then it becomes pretty evident which of the two parties would be making a bad decision here.

He did claim he had USD. Hes better off buying bitcoin though because no one is going to accept USD or any fiat currency as collateral but yes he has been ignoring everyone advice, mainly because once he gets the loan, hes not coming back or going to pay anything back. It been clear from the start.
