There are two things Air drops and Bounties on crypto I want to know what is the difference Airdrops and Bounties.
The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I think this topic is well-known here. You can say that both of them are a way to get free tokens, however, the works that need to be done before you can get the tokens are different. In airdrop, usually you'll only have to follow, likes, send 0 ETH, or do other tasks that can be done in a short amount of time, will in bounty, you'll have to do repeated task until (usually) the ICO is over before you are considered finished in doing your works.

Airdop is a short-term assignment, usually very simple, for example, to subscribe to social networks or leave a comment on some site. Bounty is a long-term assignment, where you have to spread out the project every day, write articles, be members of the project team.

This my little knowledge about this question airdrop is yoi can get the rewards without anything to do just follow the rules and sign up the form thats it ! You are all good but in BOUNTY you need to focus you need to report weekly, posting in the forum everday, etc. Bounty takes a lot of time to get rewarded.

Airdrop is either a simple registration task with some information need to have a small amount of token/coin while the Bounties categories on some series or consecutive Task to do that takes weeks to a months for you to have the allotted stakes. Bounties normally benefits with participants that have a higher status on a social media or forums.

Also... Worth to note that you may get phishing links regarding AirDrops asking for private keys etc. These are obvious scams.

Bounty tends to be a reward for completing an action or something for the team.

Airdrop let you earn free tokens by completing a task and wait until their ICO ends. Bounties let you earn more tokens by doing weekly task
required until the end of ICO (signature campaign).

On the subject forum filled with a huge number of those. Just go to other topics and read before you ask, you will find thousands of answers.
Bounty and airdrop is free coins, the only difference is how to earn and how much time to spend on it.

Airdrop to me is just like a giveaway without much work on your side and bounties are form of work where your contribution got payed based on your inputs.

Airdrop is never about assignment... this is a misconception
ICO often mislead people by saying Airdrop but actually they are just doing bounties!

Airdrop = free distribution to attract/adopt more users, sometime requires minimal conditions (no required work)
Bounty = paid assignment to market product or service, main purpose is to get investors

This topic is very up-to-date because users of both options can get a certain amount of coins from the organizer of the project. Exactly you define it and that's it.

Airdrop is either a basic enlistment assignment with some data need a little measure of token/coin while on the other side, the Bounties classifications on some arrangement or back to back Task to do that takes a long time to a months for you to have the allocated stakes. Airdrop is just basically free coins.
In bounty campaigns, you sell your services. Translations, social media campaigns, signature campaign are examples. Creating a blog, reddit thread or even youtube videos are sometimes offered.
Oke ? And

Hi

Airdrop is a process of distributed free cryptocurrency coins to the general public.
Bounty is an online reward program that is offered by online platforms for incentivising positive behaivor towards the company.

I found this Blockchain Glossary super useful as it answers this and many other questions!

Airdrop: The majority of airdrop you just fill in the registration form, higher then ask for like or follow facebook & Twitter. In short, airdrop is a one-time task and you lose 3-4p to register an Airdrop. So airdrop is the one that is registered to do not select anything.
Bounty: Bounty also has to fill in the registration form as Airdrop, but requires higher missions. It's a must to share & share their 3-5 postings per week. Share is much. In addition, each bounty can request and have different rules may be: must join their telegram channel or post the link you share in their topic bounty on bitcointalk.org or share the hashtag ( #ICO #ETH ...), or ask each day to share only one song . Some require you to report ahead of time and if you miss a week do not delete it all.

Airdrops nowadays do not offer any huge amount of money to bounty hunters. I have participated in most airdrops and the amount i have gotten is worth $5. For some bounties i have participated, the amount i have gotten is worth not less than $500. Bounties pay more than airdrops.

Airdrop, usually you just register on telegram group etc. And get little amount of free coins. Bounty: you participate in different campaigns usually more than a month, such signature, twitter, article etc.

There are two things Air drops and Bounties on crypto I want to know what is the difference Airdrops and Bounties.

Airdrop is basically the free distribution of tokens of a particular project with the intention of attracting and spreading the project to all corners of the globe. imagine 1000 participated in an airdrop and all these 1000 people liked, followed and share/re-posted/retweeted pinned post of the project on the projects official pages. that is 1000+ publicity.

Bounties on the other hand are highly task oriented and spans over a period of time. usually prior to token sale or during token sale.the aim of bounty campaigns, i believe is to promote the ICO event of the project in order to attract investors/ angels.

Financial, Bounty campaigns pays more than Airdrops.

In my opinion, the differences between airdrop and bounty are:
1. Airdrop needs to increase the number of followers of the project in telegram, twitter, facebook. The task of airdroping is simply to participate in the social networking site of the project and find more free tokens by introducing more people to the social networking sites of the project. Besides, airdrops scam more than bounty campaigns.
2. Bounty campaigns require higher demands than airdrop, but the participants get more tokens. The bounty campaign has many tasks to do: bitcointalk signature campaign, share your project on social networking sites like twitter, facebook, reddit, create content like article writing or youtube video creation. Bounty projects are often more prestigious than airdrops.

If an ICO wanting to get attention easily and with lesser overhead, they'd choose Airdrop. But if they have more funds to spare they'd choose bounty. Why? Airdrops seem cheap shot because not only you will gain almost nothing, you are also asked for your sensitive information (recently). While bounties tend to have better respect gained not only from the bounty hunters but also for willing investors. My opinion only.
