Yes, if they solve this problem with speed of transactions they probably beat BTC. Personally for me there is huge winner in ICO niche - Kevlin Blockchain. I dont think so. Bitcoin always be top of the cryptocurrencies. Every coin buy or sell via Bitcoin. In the future, This is not gonna change.

Bitcoin will not forever lead the crypto market, someday there will be another coin that will replace bitcoin. Currently there has been seen several coins that move faster than the price movement of bitcoin. although bitcoin prices are still the current high, but someday bitcoin will be defeated by other coins.

I think it's still a small possibility because after all bitcoin is a crypto coin that's more prioritized in the crypto world, it's like as parallel with the common currency that's very famous on its popularity and is still the cornerstone of all crypto coins, it would be difficult to beat.

I agree that Bitcoin can be overcome by another currency but that currency is not yet launched or may be in the form of ETH but then it will take some long time. ETH is good crypto and has great potential and in the little three year, it has attained a great position in the market as well. If it could possibly beat Bitcoin, it will only be in years to come. Right now, I do not think Bitcoin will loose its position and will rather continue to reign.

Need a very long process, and I also agree that it will happen. Current crypto market competing and they continue to show the positive developments. And I am sure that the coins such as this could be like the ETH BTC could even pass it. Because until recently the ETH is still very often used to Transact.

In future it can but right now their is no coin which can beat BTC. Their are some coins like ETH, Waves etc but still they are not able to compete with BTC. The main reason behind is that btc is not controlled by anyone and it is accepted by all crypto users and merchants. It has its own miners who are working for it.

I think that not one altcoin will be able to beat btc. Bitcoin is a coin, which is recognized by many states and it will always remain in the first place. People trust btc more than other alternative coins.

I think if there's one crypto coin that could overtake bitcoin price, probably it's ethereum. due of etheruem use as payments in some ico and Ethereum has a potential that could replace bitcoin soon.

Ethereum can catch up with bitcoin, it is impossible to replace bitcoin - they will not let you do it

We don't know what will happen in the future. Maybe there is a coin that will beat bitcoin and that is ethereum. As I see on the situation of the market today, if bitcoin goes down, the other coins will go down too. It's hard to think but we will see in the future.

But etherum is completly different coin and who knows, maybe in future it will be different than now and bitcoin will rapidly go down and in the same moment eth will gain on price, that scenario for me is very possible.

It is much more better to think about other stuff in here instead of being worried about what is going to happen to bitcoin or any other coin. I really doubt that another altcoin will take bitcoin's place, at least, not during the next few years

I don't believe that there is an altcoin which has enough popularity and enough power to beat bitcoin. I think eth, ltc and many other coins have great potential for the future, but I don't think they can beat btc.

if the forecasts for the etherium become a reality, then the etherium in the near future will be able to overtake Bitcoin by capitalization. And this shows the real changes in the leaders of the crypto-currency market.

I think there won't be a competitor for Bitcoin in the near future, it is about the community and the type of holders, as well as the community faith, crypto community still believe that Bitcoin is the safest crypto investment. Ethereum might be a competitor after solving the scalability issue.

This is one question that i have in my mind before if there is any cryptocurrency that can beat bitcoin in the future. For now, i still couldn't find an answer because i believe that that crypto doesn't exists yet or if it is already in the market, it is too early yet for it to beat bitcoin.

I dont think so. Think about it,  those  coin will never exist if bitcoin was not created. Bitcoin will still remain the number 1 coin in the crypto world and i think no coin will be able to beat it in terms of its price. The popularity of bitcoin has spread throughout the world and more people are willing to invest in bitcoin and even in some country they have atm machine for bitcoin and they used bitcoin for some micropayments.
